GBP offered less than $4m to get Calzaghe over there? Christ, Taylor wanted $10m to cross the pond and people were saying that was fair. I dread to think how much Hopkins would want.

To put it into context, $4m would be like a 70-30 or 80-20 split of the purse. That's just insulting. They don't want it.

The dollar being weak is another reason they should stage it here anyway. If they sold out the millenium stadium or Wembley stadium (better views apparently) I think someone said they could potentially be worth about £10 million, that's what potentially 20 million dollars or more. So yeah....£1.8 million, oh yes please.
