Floyd didn't pick and choose. He beat the best at 130 (his original division), then moved up to beat the best at 135 (Castille), then moved up to beat the best at 147 (Baldomir) and then moved up to beat the best at 154 (De La Hoya). It would be the equivalent of Calzaghe moving up and beating Bernard Hopkins at 175, then moving to Cruiserweight and beating the best there and then moving to heavyweight to beat Wladimir Klitscho. There is no comparison.

I may not like him, but I cant see anyone besides Floyd being the p4p #1. Joe C is making a great case for himself, and if he beats B-hop he may move to #1.

Floyd is fighting Hatton at Dec so it depend on how Calzaghe is going need to beat Hopkins and another LHW titles like Clinton Woods

in boxing terms you are comparing Micheal Nunn to Joe Calzaghe, Nunn is a master of boxing and he could school even Roy Jones ass at his prime. You did compare Calzaghe to Nunn boxing. Micheal Nunn boxing skills > Calzaghe boxing skills. But Calzaghe most of the time throws alot of furries and a better pressure fighter than Nunn.

I didnt compare Jirov with Calzaghe but I saying that they have high workrate southpaw and told the difference Calzaghe have which make you a and ****** for not reading through whole of the post. do I have to put in bold so you could read it clear to

Calzaghe and Jirov are high work rate southpaws which is similar in that term but Calzaghe puts his punchs in an odd angle unlike Jirov.
The whole point of this discussion was to demonstrate the how poorly the shoulder roll works against southpaws, then you bring up a fighter because of his work-rate, and not his skill? Calzaghe is infinitely more skilled than Jirov, and would open Floyds defense like a can-opener from his southpaw stance, just like Nunn did to Toney.

Calzaghe is more skilled than Jirov no doubt about it but not as skilled as Nunn.

and Floyd now could deal with southpaws he fought them before and know what to do.

people dont say Castillo, Corales, Casamayor and Frietas was among the best LW and there are still in that divison for pretty much long time as Flody progressed upward.

It hard to become a 5-division champion even when you discover you lose alot of power when you are 147 and trying to depend on brains and skills. When floyd won over Oscar he didnt just win him he said it that is not about the weight it about the skills and that what is Floyd trying to show in his boxing.

In person I didnt meet Floyd but he is somewhat abit of jerk and ****y but I cant deny admiring his boxing skills and what he demostart in the ring.

You Floydboys are gonna be really choked when Hatton shocks Floyd. You dellusional nuthuggers think Floyd is unbeatable, LOL. Floyd ducked the bigger Welterweights and he thinks he is taking the easy way out with Hatton, he is dead wrong.

Calzaghe still dosen't get any respect from the haters on here and I'm really not surprised. When Calzaghe moves up to 175 and dominates Hopkins will you haters finally respect him?

well he did accomplished by winning 5 WBC belts. Hatton is a beatable fighter with too many flaws in him.

I respect every fighter. A guy who got the title or undeafted guy for quite some time got that not out of nothing.

it not point of agruing someone who never boxed before. or someone who hates him personally so any thing you going to say is wrong for them.
