Ahem,......BUT Hatton is NOT a welterweight.

p4p doesn't have anything to do with achievements, or excitement. If you invented a machine that could make every fighter in the world the exact same size, the p4p best is the fighter you would pick to beat everyone.

If you resize Floyd an Joe, throw them in a ring and ring the bell, Joe will come out on top.

If you resized Ivan Calderon and Floyd, threw them in a ring and rang the bell, Ivan would come out on top.

This is why I believe Pacman has no place on any p4p lists. He is fun to watch, but he is about as skilled as a brick.

Floyd is who he is. Boxing has a dark cloud over it right now, because he's like the ****ing Joseph Stallin of this sport.
it sell PPV pretty well like in WWE

well Hatton wants to be know the best fighter around and not just a 140 pounder, by fighting Floyd he is getting a big payday as well as his chance to shine.

cant say that but even if you resize Joe and Floyd style wise Joe Calzaghe is going to lose he got to many wide shots and it will be deflected with the shoulder role but that is hard to imagine to resize them because Floyd was a puncher-boxer at SFW at WW he cant be a puncher

It not the Floyd person you looking at it the Floyd the boxer and what he do in the ring for the past 10 years in his career.

but most people take into account personal things like he is a jerk or nationalisitic thing like Calzaghe is a british he deserve to be p4p for that.

for me Calzaghe is 2nd p4p fighter

Which weight do you use for Floyd when comparing him, his last fight was at 154? Do you use 130 where he started his career? If that's the case you have to use 106 for Pac. And since fighters mature physically as they get older, that's not exactly fair. Example James Toney p4p at 160, hell yeah, at 237, no way.

So how is a 42 year old Hopkins, at 175, after losing 2 of his last 4, top p4p?

another thing the Ring Magazine and BS staff consider Floyf Mayweather 1 p4p fighter. He is the man to beat if you are near in that weightclass.

When DHL restarted his career he wanted the title with a dangerous oppenet particular WBC belt( Mayorga) and then the best fighter ( Floyd)

Just an FYI, the shoulder roll is more than useless against southpaws. Nearly every fighter Floyd has ever had trouble with has been a southpaw, you know why? Shoulder rolls don't work against southpaws. James Toney ran into the same problem in his career, lackluster performances against southpaws.
