i think a lot of people are underestimating cotto big time.. he is more than a one dimensional slugger.. he has a good jab, can box good, fights southpaw or orthodox and methodically breaks u down with constant pressure and a great body attack, i think a lot of u will be surprised saturday

I like Cotto, but some of his fans on this forum piss me off with the constant comparisons to a bonafide hall of famer like Felix Trinidad. ok wlad but u have to understand PRIDE and being a FAN is important i haven't seen ppl here comparing to trinidad that was actually mosley fans or ppl who dislike cotto where would sports be if there is no opposites rivalry that's how it is.

I can relate to you on the whole PRIDE aspect. I am Eastern European and I support the fighters from there, you're Puerto Rican and you support your fighters. There HAVE been some crazy posters on here that have said Cotto is on the same level as Trinidad and that kinda pissed me off. I have got a lot of money riding on this fight and I am huge Mosley fan so don't take it the wrong way if I get worked up in some of my posts.

To me the only area age may factor in is Mosley's ability to withstand an all out war. At 36, his speed and pop are still there. We saw what Calzaghe just did at 35. In today's age where boxers dont fight as often, the development of training techniques, and supplements, age is not as much as an issue for the bigger fighters.

Exactly. And I have seen a lot of Cotto fans say that Shane is too old and won't be able to withstand a war with Cotto if it comes to it. Unless he comes out looking like Castillo against Hatton I don't think age will be a factor in this fight.

I do, and it involves using the jab and working inside. Not letting Mosley dictate the pace, where he can get comfortable and land power combos. I really dont feel like making a long post about it, but that's the gist of it.
