Hopkins would'nt have had to fight Joe at 40+ if he had 'nt declined to fight him years ago or doubled the money should i say

Where is the source for this?

Besides, it's common knowledge that "years ago", Calzaghe was still a nobody and Hopkins would have tore that ass up in any event.

This is one of the biggest fights to be made in boxing. Dawson may in fact be more of a threat to Joe but is not well known yet. Woods is too slow to beat Joe, and Roy goes into a shell on the ropes which might get him killed vs Joe.

Hopkins has the smarts and craftiness to defeat Joe. However, his body may not be able to carry out his gameplan well enough. It would be very interesting while it lasted. No one is more determined than Joe and Bernard, and both would be at their absolute best for this fight.

I hope it happens, even if it will be ugly. Hopkins just beat a top 5 p4p guy...he is still a big win for anybody at 175 lbs.

This is comparing entirely different levels of talent and skill, kind of like Hatton-Mayweather. BUt in this case also it's interesting, since Hop will make Joe earn it, as Hatton will do for Mayweather.
u people are ******ed. i have no problem with someone predicting calzaghe to win, in fact if i had to chose i would probally pick joe by decision as well. BUT HOW THE HELL DO U COMPARE HOPKINS TO HATTON AND SAY THAT HIS SKILL DEFICIT WILL BE LIKE THAT OF HATTONS TO MAYWEATHERS!!!! thats is simply ******ed. if anything hopkins has more skills, no one in the game probally has more skills than benard. if calzaghe wins its because of his blazing handspeed, unothrdox style, and because hopkins is so old now. hopkins is very capable of beating joe and i hope he does if they fight, you guys forget how good benard is just because of the taylor losses which were disputed. a prime benard would of killed any version of calzaghe and even at this age benard is capable of winning. if this fight happens and benard wins at this age, he is without question one of the top best 20- boxers of all time, whether his fights are ugly or not.

Hopkins is crafty and hard to beat but Joes style is one that can beat hopkins.....and with ease.

My bad kid, lol. i don't know where the hell i saw four written in ur comment but i could of sworn i did for some reason. i still don't see him gettin KO'd but its possible in the latter rounds. but to defend myself, if anyone does think that a KO would happen in 4 rounds or less, then yes u r an idiot.

Hopkins is just too inactive during his fights, think another Taylor v. Hopkins where Hopkins looses due to inactivity but this time to a better and faster boxer with a southpaw style. Calzaghe by UD.

                      B-hop vs Calzaghe

B-hop would turn this fight into a clinching affair. You may not like his style, but the bottom line in who wins in the end. I have never seen a fighter who nuetralizes his opponents strength and makes it into a weakness. Hopkins by unamimous decision, in which Calzaghe has never seen a frustrating style like Hopkins. Also calzaghe is very dirty, but no one is dirtier than B-Hop.
