I think it is a fair question: If Kostya Tszyu was in his prime when Hatton beat him, why hasn't he fought again?
So is it an absolute rule that fighters never retire in their primes?

Are you also claiming that the beating Hatton gave Kostya absolutely had no bearing on KT's decision to retire?

So your theory is KT retired after the Hatton fight therefore he wasnt prime in the KT fight?

But if you asked the top 100 JWW's:

You have a fight in three months for the same money: Zoo at 140 or Oscar at 154.

        ?
That's not the question you asked though. You've changed the question to suit the circumstances because the answer you want it "Floyd took the harder fight against De La Hoya" and I'm afraid that isn't the right answer at all. Because of your angle it has to be filtered through Floyd being who he is and Hatton being who he is.

Besides which we would never agree on the top 100 JWWs so we couldn't ask them the question!

Oscar at 154 was a fat, balding, cross-dressing businessman. Kostya Tszyu at 140 was a frigging killer, a master at his own craft.

          No comparison.

            Here's something:

Tszyu TKOd Miguel Angel Gonzales in the 10th round.
Oscar won a comeback 12 round UD against Miguel Angel Gonzales.

Here is a clip from each of those fights. You be the judge.

I dont even have to see that to know that KT was the real thing at 140, Floyd was merely a pretender.

Joe Frazier beat Ali once, knocking him down. Went 44 close rounds total with Ali.

Foreman blew Frazier out twice, knocking him down ten times.

That means that...... Wiley, remind me again what your point was??

It really is sad to see boxing fans say that potshotting an old DLH was better than forcing a prime KT to mentally quit on his stool. This is the height of ingratitude and ******ity. The mods had better work on this before we become the laughingstock of the internet boxing boards.
