Please enlighten me on how the slow stand up boxer, who likes to stay at a range, and throw a carefully chosen, but small, number of shots is going to beat Mayweather?

With one devastatingly well placed right cross!

Pressure them and break them. Fighter's like the ones I named above need space to land punches. If you are on them all night and smothering them they tend to go defensive. This is true with ALL offensive fighters in the same ilk as above.Ie. Curry/Honeyghan, Duran - Leonard 1 etc.
This is not true, since Floyd fights in the pocket better than both of them, and lands short, crisp punches with ease, while rolling away from his opponent. Speed is mainly the only thing he has in common with the other two..

Having seen Benitez-Leonard.... you would pick Tszyu over WB?

I've got an idea. Read Azteca's post above. That's a pretty damn concise look. I'll finish his post with the statement that Tszyu's right hand would have ended that fight. I this clear enough for you? Are you enlightened now?

You finally answered it, but you didn't know that Benitez didn't fight in Jr. WW in the last 30 years. He moved to WW in 77. Ok? It's just a technicality, but I thought you might want to know.

That's what FLOYD tells you. it's called self promotion.

He is at his best when he is fighting at mid range. Which is what he fought at when he fought Delahoya. His tempermant isn't to fight inside and in the pocket. He goes on the defensive and gets hit. Against an all offensive fighter...he'll get outworked if he chooses that fight. Even against Phil N'dou you can see this in spurts.

Yes, I would. Only Aaron Pryor IMO beats Tszyu in his prime, and that would be a tough ass fight.

                  OR

If you have similiar or better physical tools, jab them to death. The simple jab jab right hand works on these guys. Clinch them when they try to fight from mid range. Ala Hearns - Leonard 1.

It just so happens Tszyu can do both. He can swarm except he is patient. Tszyu would be looking to pressure and outbox Mayweather. Mayweather would be forced to increase his punch output. Only problem is, that's not his natural tempermant. He is not a ****er against guys like Tszyu. A guy who is almost as dirty as Hatton. A guy who wrestles, steps on your feet and hits you with the cuff of your glove.

Tszyu would work him, IMO. Styles make fights.
I think it is more in PBF's genes to increase his output and elbow his way in and out, than in Zoo's to make it an infight battle. So we will have to disagree.

Zoo is not Ricky Hatton, he just does not do that high output, on your chest fight.

Mayweather had problems with Castillo and Judah and he is going to have the fight of his life with Hatton. Castillo is the king of inside fighting, Judah is the fastest fighter around Mayweather's weight class. Hatton is going to give him hell because he is the next king of brawling, and he is fast.

Zoo downfall against Mayweather is that whatever he does, he will be too slow.

Please note that Hatton has - RIGHT NOW - more fights than Tszyu had in his whole career. And beat Tszyu head-to-head. But you gave Tszyu the higher ranking.
