Pavlik is on his way. Even you would have to agree to this. He's got potential and it looks like he's willing to prove he's the best.

Well, Vince Phillips TKOed Kosta and Mayweather is light years ahead of him. Styles make fights notwithstanding, obviously Mayweather would have an even better and more realistic chance of TKOing Tszyu even quicker.

Sure, but he should never be mentioned in the same breath as Hopkins or Mayweather..

We all know about Tszyu's lone loss to Phillips in '97. But, Tszyu had problems with swarmers...ie..Hatton. The fact is he came back from the Phillips fight like true champions do, and furthermore became the first unified 140 title holder in 30 years.

On the other hand, Tszyu was exceedingly skilled at dismantling the fast and flashy boxer. I would include Floyd in that category. Tszyu would not only have beaten Floyd, he would have knocked him out, IMO. THIS would have ruined Floyd's high flying status as an all time great. And, it's this risk IMO that the Floyd camp took all measures to avoid.

Yeah. Because beating John Duddy proves you're the best.

Pavlik stands to make a ton of money fighting Duddy. Who would be a better opponent for him at this time at Middleweight? Arthur Abraham? Felix Sturm? Surely not Winky?

Vince Philips wasn't all that much of a pressure fighter as it wasn't his trademark like say, Hatton or Cotto. There's no excuses as to why Tszyu lost to a lesser opponent, obviously he just had flaws, flaws that would have been exposed by Mayweather as well.

On the other hand, Tszyu was exceedingly skilled at dismantling the fast and flashy boxer.
Mayweather is not flashy and he's nothing like Zab Judah, style wise.

I would include Floyd in that category.
I wouldn't since Floyd measures and calculates his punches, not to mention his defense is impeccable. Kosta's legendary straight right would have a hard time finding its mark, and even if it did, Floyd has shown that he has a great chin.

Tszyu would not only have beaten Floyd,
So he gets beaten by Phillips, but you don't believe Floyd would have beaten him? Bias?

he would have knocked him out, IMO.
Yea, like he did to a lesser fighter in Phillips.

it's this risk IMO that the Floyd camp took all measures to avoid.
This has already been proven false by direct quotation and chronology, but you can still run with this if it makes you feel better..

He would be the THIRD young hungry fighter he will have fought in a row.
                    UNDER the age of 30.
Unlike other Fighters we could mention.
All the other champs get away with easy fights (which I don't particularly like) so why shouldnt Kelly cash in?
                    He deserves a payday.

Age has nothing to do with talent and recognition.. You act like fighting someone your age is an accomplishment. If all they have is age, then basically they have nothing. Calling him "hungry" was merely added for dramatic effect since that goes without saying and hardly matters.. Anyone who hasn't "eaten" is hungry.. Honestly, I've never even heard of Duddy and he is only ranked #4 for the WBC. Sergio Mora is even ranked higher than him..
