Pretty good analysis. Thats always the case though when people say one thing and then change it.

I'm assuming you love the taste of your foot, because you put it in your mouth quite often.
oh please, you really like to stir things up for nothing. but are you really sure that the ppl who said pac can take diaz are the same ppl who says they're afraid of juan? and even if they are, dont you think it's just an opinion that they view juan diaz as a more dangerous fighter than david, WHICH IS TRUE?

i for one thinks pac can take david easier than juan, but why would i be afraid for pac? i would love to see both fights.

I personally think that Pac and Juan Diaz at 135 lbs. is a great fight but I think Pac has unfinished business with Juan Manuel Marquez in the sense that they fought to a draw. Juan Diaz has been called out by Casamayor since signing to fight Julio Diaz so that in itself is unfiinished business as well. Actually right now Juan Diaz has Casamayor, Nate Campbell and David Diaz and Michael Katsidis on his plate. Until these guys actually clean out their divisions I don't see them being matched up just yet.

As far as how I would see a Pac and Juan matchup. This would be an excellent fight that both guys will have trouble with. Juan is a pressure fighter who is quite busy but lacks power. He wears his opponents down by winning rounds. He has tasted canvas twice in his career with subpar opposition so lets not forget that. Manny is said to not fight to well when the pressure is on so it would be interesting to see how he handles the onslaught of Juan Diaz. But lets not forget that Manny has dynamite in his fists and Juan does get hit trying to deliver his combinations.

It's going to be a hell of a war that will test both fighters' will and heart. Juan Diaz fought Jose Miguel Cotto who is Miguel Cotto's brother. He is a beast and could have beaten Juan but his stamina could not sustain for all 12 rounds in that fight and Juan eventually started to connect all his combos and wear down the older brother of Miguel Cotto. This could be a similar fight. It will all depend on how focus Manny is because Juan is always focused.

i agree with the first aprt of your post, but not your description of the fight.....i think the only way pac beats the baby bull is by a one punch turn aroound.....juan would make him fight going backwards and pacquiao cant do that....end of story....one sided beat down ala kelly pavlik-edison miranda...

You guys are brutal, you don't even want Pac to test the 135 waters with a 135 bum. Go straight for the best right? Either you guys really want Pac's head or you guys are closet pacnuthuggers who believe Pac can beat anybody. When Morales tried to move up to lightweight he didn't challenge Casamayor or Corrales, he went for an unknown Raheem. When MAB was thinking of moving to 135, he challenged JESUS CHAVEZ, who was the weakest of all the belted lightweights during that time and a loser to Morales. The fight didn't push through and MAB stayed at 130.

When Pac moved to featherweight from superbantamweight, he tested it's water by fighting a Russian bum named Yesmangbatov before he challenged Barrera.

I never stated how the fight would pan out or who would win I simply stated both guys weaknesses. I think at this point I would give the edge to Manny Pacquiao because of his championship experience. Juan Diaz is great fighter but has not been pushed to his limits. The fact that he takes many punches does not sit well with me either and he hasn't fought a southpaw with the power and agression that Manny brings to the plate. I see Juan suffering his first loss at the hands of the Pacman.

And I appreciate your honesty about Marquez and Diaz being Pacquiao's toughest challenges. I think too many people are focusing on guys like Soto, Guzman, Valero and Katsidis to see the real great fights with Marquez and Diaz.

Ultimately Pac will choose who he wants and whoever he picks is fine with me. If he wants a few more fights to build up to a fight with Juan at either 130 or 135, no big deal. He's earned it. It's not like I want him to move to 135 tomorrow. He should take his time and work his way into it.
OK man got your point. At this point Pacquiao can still afford to be choosy in his fights because he wants to protect his legacy but at the same time maintain the excitement. Some would call this ducking, well for those who doesnt really care for the boxer just the fight happenning. Being a Pacquiao fan, we understand why Pacquiao can afford to be cautious in choosing his opponents. He goes to war everytime but he's also cautious in going to too much wars. He picked on Hernandez and Solis as tune-ups. While several opponents you mentioned are really good fights, Diaz and JMM are I think the money fights Manny is looking.

Of course there are a lot of crazy Pacquiao fans here and mere mention of the word "afraid" youre inviting hundreds of hate posts. But its part of Boxingscene now and even BPP encourages it. (I think) Look at how Ronnie Nathanielsz **** articles he's putting on NSB.

I don't care how many bums Pac takes to warm up for the fight. He just fought Barrera and even though Barrera didn't come to fight, he does deserve a tune up match or two if he goes to 135lbs.

Truth be told if I were Pacquiao I'd be a bit choosy in my fights as well, the same as Mayweather is being picky for his. They both have a lot to lose if they pick the wrong opponet.

And you're right, lots of haters trolling the boards and it's certainly encouraged by a particular poster's definition of "news".

JMM or Joan Guzman would be a more interesting match up.

                      Manny should then consider 135.

Manny did start out at 108. I wonder if 130 is his best weight.
