i like pacquiao. he provides a certain excitement in a time when boxers are more concerned with their images and purses than actually leaving all they have out in the ring. what the threadstart did was make a thread pointing out certain hypocrisies by certain people. he did not state that Pac ****** or tha t he was over rated. grow up.Comment

Maybe you should have asked the Pacquiao fans here if they feel that way instead of immediately pposting such title. IMO Marquez and Juan Diaz are most dangerous fight for Manny right now. But Ill gladly have Manny Pac fight Diaz since it isnt as risky (in terms of reputation, if he ever lose) as the JMM rematch.Comment

Can you sum up the point of this thread cuz I'm a bit confused. Is this towards Pac for making excuses for not fighting Juan Diaz, but encouraging to go for David? Or is it to Pac for not fighting Juan since they weigh the same fight night?
Check, whether it's against David or Juan, Pac would still be a blown up featherweight fighting at lightweight, period. Sure you can pack on muscle to weigh as much as the other guy but that's very different compared to somebody that naturally belongs in that weight class. Fact of the matter is, Juan can and proabably will move up to junior welterweight where as Pac could only joke about fighting at 140.
Pac's best fighting weight is 126, no debate. He's not a natural 130lber and most certainly not a natural 135lber. To say he should move up to fight the Mayweathers is just ludicrous. If Mayweather called him out three times, would people call him a chicken?Comment

Barrera and Morales are definite "All Time Greats" in my eyes, but I'm no anaylst or pundit so their place in history is not up to me. And Pac never UD'd Marquez, it was a draw. And Marquez will never be an "All Time Great" thanks to years of Nacho's mismanagement of his career.Here are the undisputable facts:

I'm glad that you acknowledge my honesty and could see my previous threads for the jokes that they were meant to be. I agree that is ultimately Pacquiao who decides who he fights and where he fights them at. If Pac wants Diaz, he'll go for him, if not, he's got plenty of other competition in Guzman, Soto, Valero and Katsidis.You're an honest guy TB but the plain truth is that it is pac who decides who he fights and not the fans. Also it is pac who will do the fighting so he is the only one entitled to be afraid. Juan can have all his belts and pac can fight all the patsies in the world for all I care.
This thread was never meant to be a knock against Pacquiao. But a knock against certain fans of his who change their opinions on anything that pertains to Pacquiao's opponets on an almost daily basis. I've also had discussions with some very friendly, open and honest pinoy members as well. So these bad apples don't tarnish my view of Pac's fanbase any.Comment
