I've heard in Pacland that if Manny had his ways, he wanted to take on Valero because he took MAB's and Valero's challenge a lil personal and he didn't appreciate MAB's comment regarding Valero beating him (Pacquiao) during their post-fight presscon.
I figured that would be the guy Pacquiao would aim for first, since Barrera seemed to verbally jab him with Valero at the press confrence. Valero is getting a certain amount of hype behind him too so a win over him would help build up Pac's fight against the Soto-Guzman winner.

My gut feel is that Pac will go for JMM and probably Valero's belts and possibly have a mega-fight with Juan Diaz at a catch weight, prolly at 132. But I'm sensing that if Pacquiao's team decides to move at 135, Arum will pit him against David Diaz since he is also a TR figher, isn't he?

Pacquiao fears Diaz. Thats why he doesn't fight him right away. Instead Pacquiao only fights ppl who knows he can beat. All of a sudden Pacquiao wants to win all the belts in his weight class, while his last fight was against a guy who didn't even own a belt. He doesn't fight Juan now because he knows Juan will cost him profit. Pacquiao is more worried about his money then he is about his pride in his own people and representing non-cowards.

Pac's speed can let him quickly get out of trouble of Juan's punches and he can quickly go back again with quick 1-2's when least expected and adding the fact that Juan doesn't think of defense while attacking. Juan's advantage in here is that he can take strong punches so it will be difficult for pac to knock him out.

He fought the guy who doesn't have a belt because a fight with that guy is the one that gave him the most money...

Tell that to "Pretty Boy" Floyd and his legions. Pac knows no fear. He will take on every comer, that's guaranteed. He already said that' he'll take Diaz if the price is right.

you know this simply comes down to handspeed and boxing ability. The first, handspeed, is certainly held by Pacman. As far as boxing ability well at least Pacquiao can say he's been in against a few guys who were/are very good boxers and not just once he has had a chance to learn from these guys . He is far more experienced in that capacity and that is another major advantage. Diaz is just a little too slow of foot to make Manny pay the price when he gets out of balance and doesnt pack the pop if he could catch pacman. If pac brings power up with him I see a late stoppage possible otherwise he still out speeds and out hustles Diaz all night. I like Diaz but I would much rather see him against Katsidas. Talk about a slugout pressure fight.

Right... Boxing is business, anybody who can offer Pac the biggest money fight will be the first in line... With or without a belt...

TB wants consistency so i'll say this again... maybe the 4th or 5th time i've posted this in a couple of your threads...

Pacfans are not afraid of Pacquiao fighting Juan Diaz or whoever... Taking on David Diaz is just going to be a tune-up fight that will prolly serve as a his way of getting accustomed to the weight. I am not hating on David Diaz but he has not proven anything yet to get my respect. After a David Diaz fight or a tune-up fight at 135, let's bring in Juan Diaz.

If this happens, I expect a thread that says Pacfans fear JMM...
