Tszyu would have made mayweather do an MC Hammer dance just like Zab Judah.

You know Floyd wanted none of Tszyu after seeing that.

Tszyu had timing and power. Even with Floyd's running style, he would have got caught eventually.

He specifically mentioned it after both the Jesus Chavez fight at 130 and the Henry Bruseles fight at 140.

I have provided this board with several articles and interviews where Floyd was asking for Tszyu.

We have asked REPEATEDLY for ANYTHING where Tszyu called out Floyd. Have you seen anything? No. Not an article. Or interview. Or promoter's quote. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

Kostya Tszyu wanted none. After getting knocked out by the great Cool Vince Phillips, Tszyu tucked tail and ran.

Just take a look at Zoo's resume. Who are the names on there? Judah and Sharmba. Enough said.

Can I see any evidence where Tszyu called out Floyd?

PBF had the bigger HBO contract. So it shouldn't be any problem for Zoo to dump the low-paying Showtime contract to make an HBO fight.....right?

Show me some evidence he wanted Mayweather.

              Chronology:

Tszyu's last fight before lay off was in January 2003, before taking a long lay off and not returning until late 2004 against Mitchell.

During the lay off, Floyd moved up to 140 and had his first fight mid-year, 2004, before Tszyu was even back. By the time Kosta did come back, Mayweather already had another bout scheduled as a WBC title eliminator, while Tszyu was fighting for the IBF. During this period, Mayweather indeed expressed concern about wanting to fight Tszyu, but there was no response from the Tszyu camp who were interested in Hatton and would come back to Floyd. Not putting his title eliminators to waste, Floyd fought Gatti less than a month after Hatton destroyed Tszyu. Tszyu was out of the picture so Mayweather expressed interest in Hatton, in which Hatton's camp said that he wasn't ready. Tired of the games, Floyd moves up and captures 3 more titles in 2 different weight classes. Nuff said, this nonsense about Floyd ducking Tszyu is just ******..

Fact: Tszyu was the dominant force in the Jr. WW (140) from the early 90s.

Fact: Floyd moved up to 140 in 2004, fought a couple of bums there, and quickly moved up.

Fact: Floyd then says he wanted Tszyu the whole time.

Fact: Floyd never fought for the 140 championship as long as Tszyu held the belts.

Fact: Regardless of who said what, Floyd could've forced Tszyu to put his belts on the line or be stripped, by way of mandatory challenge, had he stayed at 140.

Fact: Contrary to what some Floyd apologists say around here, there was no "long layoff" regarding Tszyu during Mayweather's time in and around 140. Tszyu fought in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. In fact, he was top ten p4p in all those years.

No more details necessary. No excuses are sufficient. Floyd dodged Tszyu.

Is it any coincidence that Floyd is now coming back down in weight? Now that Tszyu is retired, it's no surprise to me.
Floyd moved up because Hatton wouldn't fight him. Zoo had already lost and hasn't fought since, therefore he is irrelevant in regards to Floyd moving up. If Hatton had not lost, do you really think a Zoo/Mayweather fight would not have happened. Wiley you are being ridiculous in suggesting a duck, none of the facts support your argument and your timeline is off If you look at the history of Mayweather's championship fights, it'a always for that WBc belt. He holds that in high regard and it is the most recognizable belt period. How could Zoo have that belt when gatti had it. Did he need to beat Zoo to be the man at 140, Yes! But when Zoo lost Hatton became that man at 140 and he chose to not fight him at the time

He mentioned him along with DLH, Mosley and a few others.

I don't need to do any homework son, I was around at the time. I'm not playing catch-up 3 years down the line like you.

Kostya was asked about a fight with Floyd once. He just smiled and said "too small".

If Floyd was ever serious about fighting him he would have tried to get in there before Hatton or Mitchell instead of going after journeymen.

                    Good post.
Thats what I've been trying to present to Wiley, but he is to damn stubborn. In his little world Floyd ducked KT and he swears it a known FACT.

for KT being as tough as he is .. did he even try to rematch Vince Phillips .. the guy who cleaned his clock and knocked him out?

                      and what about this ...

"Yeah. Sure. He lost at age 36. What about the ten years before?"

you could say the same thing about Ricky Hatton. he'd been talking about fighting Kostya his whole damn career

and when does he finally fight him? 2005
