Well DLH got paid a **** load more than Mayorga and he was the champ. Pac is the star in this match up, JMM better start getting realistic and understand that he'll still get more money fighting Pac than fighting any other active Super Feather out there. Maybe he should start thinking about a rematch with Johns for 50k .

pacquio is acting like a coward crying over money. the truth is he fears jmm because of what he did to him in the first fight. jmm is in his prime unlike the other mexican legends pac has been fighting and pacquio wont be able to handle marquez power and get knocked out within 9 rounds.

jmm better be wise and not so greedy in the negotiations. if he let go of pac, he wont make that possible ****load of money fighting valero, guzman or soto.

Damn all this talk of Pac fighting PBF is ridiculous. Let's consider the facts. Pac had trouble doing anything spectacular against a really old Barrera who was barely trying to survive, but still managed to land a few combinations that rocked his head back. Second, let's look at the first fight with JMM when he was outboxed and countered all night after the first round. Pac wouldn't win a rematch against JMM, what makes anybody think he could stand in there with the most technically advanced boxer today>? PBF would dance circles around Pac (as seen on Dancing with the Stars) and easily knock him out. I don't understand Pac fans sometimes. Stop listening to the bull**** Jim Lampley and company comment during his fights. By the way they talk about Pac you'd think he would be fighting lions and tigers by now instead of humans. Pac is very much vulnerable, somebody with good defensive skills and sharp counters will expose that. Someone like say, JMM or PBF. Seriously anybody who really thinks PBF and Pac should fight watch the Barrera fight and just wonder what would happen if Pac fought someone 3 times as fast as Barrera and who would land 3 times as many shots.

i agree although at 34 marquez is past his best, he boxed pacs ears off in first fight but could he sustain that pace now? i mean he barely got past barrera

Good point man, but JMM has never really been a boxer that pushes the pace, he's a counterpuncher so he only works off what the opponent gives him. I just think Pac's defense is not good at all, and Barrera showed that by landing the few combinations he threw. He snapped Pac's head back a few times. JMM is a bit more aggressive than Barrera was, and this isn't JMM's retiring fight, he's the champ and he's gonna wanna hang onto that belt.

I think Marquez now draws alot more fans now that he beat Barrera and after his last few fights..

                      It's doubtful.

Your argument will be settled with the result of JMM-Juarez fight. JMM is the headliner of that fight and it will show whether he gained new fans.

Those who said that JMM is old. I say you are wrong.

JMM is still fresh for a boxer.

He has been in only 2 significant wars. His fight with Pac. And his megafight with Barrera.

Other than that JMM has coasted himself into safe victories.

I do agree that if there's anyone who can beat Pac, it's JMM. But it still depends on what his style will be. If JMM attacks and takes the initiative then he has a very, very good chance, 50-50.

If JMM opts to backpeddal. Then Pac will dictate the tempo and will simply steal rounds from him.

                      JMM must be reasonable also.

He's asking for a lot of money. A 60-40 split is more than fair for his part.

JMM should fire Nacho his manager. It's because of him he has been in the shadows of the Great Morales and Barrera for the past years.
