Same deal with Floyd too though... Oscar was a good test for Floyd until he lost. Then he became ancient.

Baldomir was the hype of the week back before Floyd fought him, and now he is just a bum.

Revisionists are hard at work making all of this happen.
tell me when you're joking then cause i can't see it coming. Im such a noob at jokes.

Damn, maybe Margarito should hand that "most feared man in boxing" moniker over to Wright?

I can see with all the thread you're making. A little obvious.

Hmm... well idk, I was hoping for something more convincing... Wright didn't have any kind of title, no matter what weight they fought at, and Floyd was already considered at least the P4P #2, some sources had him #1... a 50-50 split being unacceptable to Mayweather isn't the least bit surprising, at least to me. He is giving away a ton of advantages by fighting Winky, and he wasn't even going to get a good payday out it.

This leads me to conclude that fantasy fights with big gaps in weight usually will never happen, because both fighters will want a ton of money... one because he is in a no-win situation in the actual fight, and the other because he is in a no-win situation for his reputation and status in the sport.

Haha, excuses, excuses. If it ain't past his prime, its he left his last great fight before he faced the man.

I mean, PAC is just **** out of luck. His opponents seem to have had their last great fight, right before they fought PAC. Well, isn't everyone of legendary Mexican boxing status last fight against PAC, yet you use the excuse that their last great fight was before PAC.

Why is it that when MAB got his head decapitated in '04 he went on a winning streak. He didn't look so past his prime then, especially when he ran circles around Juarez, who happen to be a few years younger than PAC and some say hits alot harder. EM looked terrific even in defeat against Diaz. Do you actually think that if the EM that fought Diaz fought PAC instead. Who do you think would win? I say PAC kills 'em.

These guys simply cannot deal w/ PAC's speed. The problem with y'all is that you guys only see PAC's obvious flaws. But he's w/o doubt one the fastest fighters out there, and everyone so far has had a terrible time dealing with it. It's not just a simple case of one guy is young and the other guys is old and old gets beat up.

PAC's speed is blinding, it hurts on impact, and keeps coming and coming like a meteor shower. That my friends is what makes him difficult, not because the other guy is old.

What part of "I was being sarcastic" are you having trouble with? I'm not discrediting Pac for beating Marco seriously, it's all in fun because you guys are a riot. You'd literally take up arms to defend Pacquiao's good name. I'm just having a laugh. I really thought Barrera had a shot against Pac in a rematch, and as I said before, it was because I thought all great fighters have one last great fight in them.

And again, I never stopped to think Marquez could've been that fight.
