I also heard Marquez wasn't given a fair deal at the negotiation table. Regardless because I don't what is true or not. For whatever reason the rematch hasn't happened that I know for fact. We also know truth be told if PBF was considered to have priced hisself out of a rematch with Castillo majority of people would be saying he ducked Castillo and that is NOT to say Manny is ducking Marquez.

Much to begin with? That's a joke.

And I could just as easily say a lot of what made them out of their prime were Pac's beatings. Not that hard a case to make.

the key word here is OFFERED. JMM declined. And you got it the other way around. It's JMM who priced himself out, so you cant apply ducking to Manny.

I didn't apply ducking to Manny and I stated what I heard. A person doesn't have to take what is offered if it isn't fair. Also low balling a fighter is another way to postpone fights still not saying that is what Manny did. Just not going to take your second hand knowledge of what went on as fact when I heard different and I am not taking what I heard as fact either.

oh it's a fact alrite, it's written all over the internet before. if 800K is lowballing, then why would he trek all the way to Indo and lose for 30K?

Can you please show me a credible article that shows you claims to be true. If they are from a credible source I will have no problem admitting I was wrong.

dude, 750K wasn't a fair deal for JMM, you think? PAC was supposed to get 1 million for that fight with JMM not far behind with 750K. he was asking 1.5 million for the rematch because he had the belts. Manny was Ring Magazine's champ during that time, we fail to consider that. While belts still make some statement, it isn't loud enough to make promoters double his money. JMM didn't want the fight outright. That's just it.

you obviously are new to boxing or new to manny pac's career cause you don't know about the rematch details. we don't need to provide you with a link, go find it yourself here in boxingscene. There are a lot of articles here, you do the research.

I made a post in a different thread.. but people are quick to praise that group of 4. The problem is, they've lost some bouts to outside competition... so are they really the top 4 who are so clearly dominant?

Is it so hard to think that, while they were on top for a time, they weren't that spectacular? They got rich and famous in the boxing world by fighting eachother.
