Yeah I know what your saying. I don't think Paul could beat Floyd, Cotto, or Mosley though. If he moves up he might be in more trouble since he punches like therez WonderBread in his gloves.

To much stamina and pressure for floyd to handle.

How about Hearns ? Doubt Floyd could survive 12 rounds with Hearns heavy artillery bombs. And lets not forget that Hearns also had very good speed.
You just did some crazy triangulation ****. What does Floyd-hagler have to do with Floyd-SRL? Didn't SRL "run" for 12 rounds vs MMH?

Here is what I think: as a pure boxer, Floyd is better than Leonard. Ray can be more versatile because he has more power, and Ray has an A+ chin (in his prime). But FMJ also appears to have a great chin. At 147, that is a fight that can go either way. PBF ain't stopping ray. But he has an excellent chance to outbox him.

Floyd is a smaller guy and would stay in any fight with anybody in history at his natural weights. I'm not saying that he would win - but he would be competitive.

Floyd is an ATG. Not the GOAT. But an ATG.

He's yet to prove that, Dios.

What Hatton really meant was "I don't care if he is just trying to sell a fight, this punk needs his ass kicked."

Well done Ricky. Another bad move by Floyd. Selling a fight is one thing, but making an opposing fighter truly dislike you is bad for business. Just ask Ali after his first fight with Frazier. Ali created a monster in that one and he never did it again.

There are a lot of people out there that want to root for Floyd. But, his behaviour out of the ring, and his big, SPOILED mouth consistently alienate all but the most extreme Mayweather fans. Yeah, I know about attracting attention to "sell a fight", but people also want to see that their man is a human being, worthy of the adulation. Maybe, Floyd does need to be whipped. Maybe, it would be good for him. Heck, getting off the canvas and making a comeback is the true mark of a champion anyway.
Somebody needs to teach Floyd a lesson, that could be Hatton.
          Not sure though.

Sure Hagler might be to big but what about Hearns then ??

Floyd is a great fighter but not better then Leonard.

If he knocks out Hatton, I will give him due credit. Another chicken run for decision will not do the trick in this fight.

I do not think that PBF has "yet to prove" that he is an all-time great. He has earned his mantle.

For a moment, let's be objective... OK? Deal.

Brilliant amateur career with national titles.
Olympic Medal... bronze, and should have been gold
First world championship at 19/20 years old....over legit guy
Was dominant fighter at 130 pounds
Moved throught weight classes from 130 to 154.
Has been continuously a champion for ten years
Has been on Ring mag P4P list FOR TEN YEARS
has been in Ring mag P4P #1 spot for three years
Has a 38-0 record, with only one disputed
Rematched the dispute immediately and won convincingly.

Victories over the following top ten guys: Genaro, manfredo, castillo twice, Corrales, Judah, delahoya, gatti, chavez, famosito, goyo vargas, chop-chop, baldomir and sharmba

named to the ESPN 50 greatest fighters of all time

I have been watching boxing a long time. There are very few better resumes.

Has never been knocked down or seriously hurt

SRl would whup PBF. I can just imagine how annoyed SRL is when he hears PBF shoot his mouth off about being better than him. Bottom line is PBF hasnt beaten anyone of real note in their primes yet.
SRL wouldnt have struggled with Castillo 2 times! But if PBF is the greater than SRL. IF Hatton beats PBF....how good must Hatton be then?

Hatton won't beat Floyd so it really doesn't matter.
