    • Haha..some of you dudes take these forums a bit too serious. If you dont appreciate the way Floyd conducts himself during the pre-fight stages, that's fine..dont like him. Everyone has the right to their opinion but some of you need to take some time to base it on actual boxing knowledge and not just girlish emotions. Many folks just want to see Mayweather "humbled" b/c he's a brash, young, rich black man who's says what's on his mind & doesnt give a damn about pleasing the overall public. What you cant take away from him is the fact that he's the best pure boxer to come across the sport in the last decade (like it or not). Hatton is a pretty good fighter but he's one dimensional and his only (be it admitted) game plan is to try & pressure Floyd throughtout the fight and that tatic simply isnt going to work. In order to beat Mayweather (at this stage in his career), you won't only have to be a talented boxer (w/ a very good jab), but also must have excellent stamina (in order to sustain a productive punch output), have a decisive physical advantage, but more importantly be sound mentally. One of Mayweather's best assests is being able to make adjustments during the fight b/c of his high boxing IQ (let's face it Floyd, Sr had this kid boxing at age 4 or 5..he's currently age 30..you do the math..he's a prodigy). He made adjustments againgst Judah as well as De la Hoya and dominated the later rds of those bouts. Hatton, although rugged, isnt as talented as either of the aforementioned Mayweather casualites, so I dont see where he has much of a chance to win this bout b/c he doesnt possess one punch k'o ability. Hatton's gameplan is to wear you down thru attrition which is what he did against Kosta. Floyd (love him or hate him) is one of the best conditioned athletes in the sport who never allows this weight to fluctuate between bouts therefore never has to abuse his body to make weight. That 'Dancing w/ the Stars' endeavor is only going to aid that fact. Has anyone ever seen an overweight..out of shape professional dancer? Those choreographed routines are very taxing physically and require a good amt of stamina. It's also gonna assist him w/ his coordination and footwork (you cant be a clumsy dancer) which he already excels at in the ring. If Hatton doesnt develop a more sound gameplan (i.e implement some actual skills), he's going to get tee'd off on starting somewhere around rd. 3 or 4 throughout. Its as simple as that. Hate it or love it.

      • You obviously don't know much about Hatton and are basing your opinions on limited knowledge about him,but thats ok Im here to educate you.Firstly look at Hattons record he has fought and won 43,he did actually have a career BEFORE he went to America, people do fight outside America and there are world class fighters equal to your best outside America. So basing your opinion on what you have seen since Hatton has fought in America is not accurate.Especially since he has had a bit of a slump since fighting his greatest fight inTszyu, its common among fighters you don't always compete 100% in every fight, that will almost def change come Mayweather fight as its equal to the Tszyu fight in terms of Mayweathers standing and ability. Now on to conditioning,I'm sorry but if Hatton is back to his best Mayweather will not be better conditioned than him,you can go on about never out of shape always the pro etc,but watching his fights and especially recently he has yet to dig deep, his body has never had to work anywhere near maximum because his opponent was no where near conditioned enough.Hattons has and it will benefit him in this fight.Lastly as for the dancing it makes little difference I think most people know he wont last long in th3e comp, not because he can't dance but because its a popularity contest and he isn't very popular, its gonna be a close fight even though Mayweather has home advantage.
