I do like how you keep saying that Hatton is a good 'straight man'.

That is suggesting that PBF is the 'funny' one.

He hasnt really made me laugh at all yet.

Ricky has fell for it.. And Mayweather trash talks not beause he is insecure but to put himself in a position he cannot lose. He bring pressure uppon himself saying **** like that. And that tatic is a proven one in psychology. I'm a Floyd Mayweather fan since i first saw him fight and believe he's already up there with the greats but i do think Ricky makes alot more sense in what he says.

He always says that. He said the same thing about Zab and even Oscar (which I bet now he's regretting, with those pictures flying around). He'll say "I respect such and such fighter as a man, but do you gotta get in the ring and MAKE me respect your fight game."

When the Judah fight was over he said to Larry Merchant (i think) that Zab made him respect his fight game in the ring that night.

        Nothing wrong with that.

Floyd has a high defensive mechanism (and I'm not talking about his ring defense) when it comes to talking about his opponents. As opposed to just coming in and praising his opponent's accomplishments (like hatton did of him) he goes in and lists all their flaws whether it be their in-ring skills or the opponents that they have faced. That's just how his mind works.
James Toney is the same damn way except he does it in a more tough guy sort of way and fans buy into it because of his physique. He does look more intimidating then lil floyd who some still believe hasn't reached puberty yet due to never growing a beard.

Thats the same **** i dislike about Mayweather!! Bottom line is, he has to talk **** about great boxers from the past to get his kicks...Theses guys like Ali and Suger Ray didnt do what they did for boxing, For so some little punk like Mayweather to try and take himself on A high stage..If Ali and Suger Ray were English and Mayweather was aswell, And Mayweather started talking that **** about our great fighters, He would be Dis-owned, Period!! you prb would get a few mad ***ers try and kill him..IMO

Whats gonna happen IF Hatton wins...The hole would is gonna be laughing
