    But I agree 100%!
It's funny, since I made this thread all I've been getting is negative karma with people calling me a "Brit F.ag". I guess they think Philly is a place in England........

I didn't make this thread to say that hatton will beat Mayweather because I still doubt he can, I just still think that everybody thinks Hatton is another Gatti. And come fight night I think a lot of people will be surprised at the size of the fight in Hatton.

Sqeal.... don't do the triangular theories, man...Different night. Different Fight.

Manfredy KO's Gatti. Gatti went six rounds w PBF. So, Angel should have done fairly well w/ Floyd, right?

Manfredy vs PBF? Never saw the 3rd round

Those "common opponents" comparisons are notoriously unreliable.

That's not a triangle theory, it's a direct comparison of Gatti and Hatton's talents. A triangle theory is "fighter A beat fighter B who beat fighter C, so therefore fighter a beats fighter C.".

          • And anyone who'd compare Gatti's "skill" level to hatton's must be either out of their mind, a Hatton hater, or never saw Hatton fight in England. The difference between Hatton and Gatti's styles is the difference betwen night and day. Gatti was a product of HBO's hype machine, a glorified C level fighter who belonged in "Toughman" contests, not World Title matches.

I went back and edited to a "common opponents" comparison. Although that isn't the best categorization either.

It's a "If Gatti goes six rounds, then Hatton will go at least..." type of comparison.

I've found those to be very unreliable.

I don't buy into those theories either, but I can't see Hatton not lasting longer than Gatti, and putting forth a much better effort than Gatti. Unless Hatton says, whatever the British equivalent of a "no mas" I can't see it stopping.

Much of it depends on the mindset that PBF brings in.

If Floyd comes in as a straight hunter and decides to pounce on Hatton early and dictate the fight, I can see this looking like DLH-Chavez. That was one of the scenarios that I have envisioned.

The most likely scenario that I have seen, though, is PBF taking a couple of rounds to adjust, and then really putting hands on RH around 3/4.

My prediction is that Hatton quits in round 9.

I think you should leave the airesole cans alone from here on out my freind. The only think Mayweather will do is try to outpoint and not get hit. He won't plant long enough to deliver a decent powershot. When your visions are deluded by your own inability to see reality it's kinda hard to be accurate with your assesments.

Hatton is gonna **** Mayweather within 10 rounds. Floyd dont have the cajoles to do what needs doing to win this fight. He will figure out how bad he is farged about the 6th, from then on it's strickly pot shot and run like it's an indoor track meet!

                    • Hatton is far better than Gatti. I think it will go a full 12(depending on how Floyd fights) unless Hatton is cut badly.
