No, that's what made it so insightful. Forget about the Declaration of Independence, the Historical, Commerical, Educational and Cultural contributions, the first inventions of the Medical School, Public Library, Fire Department, Hospital, Post Office, Bank, and Stock Exchange, it's just a dirty City with a cracked bell.

Anyway, I'm going down to South Carolina in a few hours so I have to get some sleep. I'll bump this and reply when I get back.

Or what about the point that he lost to guys who were B class at best? So I suppose your entire point here is that it's not the guys you beat, but the guys you lost to? Well then yeah, Gatti has the better record. The much better record......
I am not saying Gatti is better than Hatton. I am saying Hatton has fought only ONE!!!!!!! quality fighter in 43 fights. Therefore, Hatton hasn't proven that he is a top quality fighter. And he is getting in the ring with a guy who has beaten four ring magazine champions and numerous other A-Class fighters. Gatti, even though he is a B-Class fighter and has lot to virtually all of them has fought at least 20 top class fighters. Therefore, I have a lot more respect for Gatti than I do for Hatton. So until Hatton actually fights and beats a top quality fighter in his prime and not a has been like he did in his last fight, you can't compare him to Mayweather in ANY way. I just finished watching a fight involving a guy named Oganov, a European who was 26-0 with 26 knockouts. His record was deceiving. All those knockouts were against stiffs and he got exposed tonight, got his ass whipped tonight and was koed in 9 rounds. Hatton will get his ass whipped in five rounds or less on December 8 because he is overrated just like Oganov and you will then come on this site and make excuse and offer ridiculous criticisms of Mayweather because you can't stand to admit that you were wrong about Hatton.

Neither of his promoters, Frank Warren or Dennis Hobson were willing to put Hatton in the same zip code as Mayweather. Hatton's willingness to fight him shows that he truly has confidence and wants to fight the best.
Very true. Ricky gets a lot of my respect because he is willing to fight Mayweather, especially at 147, very impressive on his part.

            • Yes. Absolutely. Actually Hatton has been knocked down twice. He was knocked down with a body shot by Kostay Tyzsu.
It wasn't ruled a slip, it was ruled a low blow. On the replay it was clearly low, right on the cup, and the referee warned Tszyu shortly thereafter for repeated low-blows. If you can't accept that, then fine. Hatton knocked Tszyu down with a "body shot" too.

Bringer, you call Gatti a C-Class fighter who is not on Hatton's skill level. The fact is that Gattis has fought at least 20 high quality fighters in his career, including Mayweather, Baldomir, Manfredy, Oscar De La Hoya and others
He lost badly to every single one of them. You know what, I could get in the ring with top world class boxers and get myself knocked cold. Does that make be a great fighter? Do I deserve respect for that?

Hatton is a product of Frank Warren's hype machine and unlike Hatton, Gatti never turned down a fight with a top quality fighter.
Nonsense. If he was simply a FW hyped fighter he would have lost to Kostya Tszyu when he was expected to. He has since been hyped a lot more by the Ring magazine and by HBO, and he's carried on winning. Furthermore he is now challenging not just the best fighter near his weight, but the best pound for pound in the world. Hype, right?

              lmaooooooooooooooooooo
What on earth does this mean? I know that "LMAO" as an acronym for "laughing my ass off". I'm not sure what kind of acronym LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO could be. Perhaps it means you are some sort of remedial.

The guy can bore his way in on anybody. He'll have many moments.

And he's capable of constant foward movement.

Hatton will activate insane amounts of adrenaline... People have no idea..

He's going to be ****ing keyed.

Chess won't beat Mayweather - smashmouth Boxing will. Watch!

I'm picking Hatton to win. Ricky is going to finish what JLC started..

Hatton is gonna **** Mayweather within 10 rounds. Floyd dont have the cajoles to do what needs doing to win this fight. He will figure out how bad he is farged about the 6th, from then on it's strickly pot shot and run like it's an indoor track meet!

                    Great analysis

Floyds Record Is One Of The Best In Boxing Today?if Names Mean More Than The Actual Condition Or Age Of The Fighters Involved Then Yes, Floyd Has Some Decent Names On His Resume, But Not A Damn One Was Prime Or Even Near Their Peak! How Many Times Does This Need To Be Said. I Appreciate You Giving Hatton A Fair Shake In Your Analasys- It's More Than The Nutlickers Will Even Consider, but I Think You Are Forgetting That Quality Of Competition Is The Only Accurate Gauge When Trying To Define A Fighters Ability. Roy Jones Was Living Proof Of That, And Not Unlike Jones, Maywaether Has Spent More Than A Couple Years Fighting Past It And Light Competition. His Resume Can Be Picked Apart At Will(as Can Hattons For That Matter).

It Is A Pickem Fight Imho, But I'm Leaning With Hatton. I Know Hatton Can Take A Punch. I Know Hatton Will Keep Comming. I Know Hatton Has The Greater Will(it's Eveident In Their Styles), And I Know Hatton Will Seek To Confront While Floyd Will Avoid As Much As Possible. Against Inferior Competition That Tactics Works, But Against A Prime, hungry, world Class Fighter Like Hatton It Will Be A Tougher Stretch For Mayweather To Find The Distance He Needs In Order To Compose Himself And Think-that Space Hatton Will Not Allow. So For Floyd To Win He Is Gonna Have To Do So In The Trenches. Has Floyd Ever Been In The Trenches? Castillo Pressured With Much Success, What Makes Anyone Believe Hatton Wont Be Able To Close The Distance?

                      Hatton Tko10!!!
