Who do you like better: Barrera or Morales?

I like Barrera. Nothing against Morales or his abilities but Barrera is my favorite fighter. The first fight I remember watching was Barrera-Morales 1 and I thought he was great. It was interesting to watch him evolve as a fighter and then go back and watch his earlier fights. I like that he can box or go to war and he keeps rebuilding himself after setbacks. Added to this, I met him (briefly) after the Pedan fight and he seemed like a really nice guy.

Im mexican and of course i like Morales more, Barrera s a stuplid classless ****, Morales is arrogant but he's only a**** if youre a **** to him, whie barrera makes excuses when he loses, always says he was robbed, punches in press conferences, tells mexicans like him indios, thinks he is a better person cus his skin is lighter, thinks he is abetter person because he had money growing up....

they are both true warriors but morales has more heart. morales will go down as one of the greatest warriors in all of boxing.

honestly anyone who thinks he is a better person because his skin is lighter and has more money, like barrera loses all my respect, add to that he is a bad sportsman and a dirty fighter.......

i still love how he fights though, and i actually think he is a better all aroun in skills than morales, but morales is greater IMO, in my eyes Morales won the first fight and i saw this fight when i was a Barrera fan because i bought HBO's hype that Erik was the bad guy..... and still thought Erik won enough rounds....i would have been happy with a draw because barrera fought grat though but i dont think he wn that fight.....the second one erik definatly won and theres shouldnt have been a trilogy....te third one barrera clearly won he did great....


Add Morales beating both the guys that beat Marco....

I think he's ugly but alot of females I talked to say he's hot. I don't know how, I agree he looks like a rat.

ive always found that hilarious.....my friends always say he is good looking, and im like you can see his nose right???lol

hell even his wife(hot model)changed a soccer player who makes good money (soccer players in meico are grossly over payed...)and does modeling, for morales.....

More of an MAB fan. I remember watching the first Morales fight and rooting for MAB. I've been a fan ever since.

inside the ring i respect both cos they are amazing fighters.
but mab is amazing imo. i really like how he fights, and i enjoy watching him fight. a very good overall fighter.

what i'm about to say might get morales fans mad, but i dont mean to get any morales fans angry with what im about to say......

we all know morales has heart, but how did you fans feel when he got knocked down for the third time against pacman and he just stayed there? he could have got up but he didnt? where was his heart in that situation?? in all the fights ive seen morales in, he has NEVER given up, in that 3rd fight with pacquiao he just seemed to give up, it was like he didnt wanna fight, his father and his corner were telling him to get up but he didnt want to, i have never associated that with erik morales as a fighter. even when the chips were down, when morales seemed down and out, he would always find a way to fight back..... until the 3rd fight with pacman.

morales is still a legend in my eyes, i was just shocked when i saw morales not get up, thats all im trying to say.
