He was surprised that the Juarez camp didn't complain about it, not that Barrera's people got away with it. Nobody is questioning Steward's knowledge.

Both are and will be considered great fighters. I pick the Baby Faced Assasin. I just like Barrera's style more than Morales. The thing that I don't like about Morales is some comments that he made in a boxing magazine regarding people such as myself, Mexicans born in the US that identify with Mexico and have pride in their roots. He made some ignorant comments about how he couldn't understand how someone in this country could wave a mexican flag and that people in this country should not do that because they have never lived in Mexico.Basically he dissed everyone who was born here that are proud of their roots. If he can't understand why people identify and have pride in their roots, then he shouldn't fight in the US in front of people that he doesn't understand or respect. I did live in Mx when we moved from Chicago, he should be happy that their are people that are respectful of and acknowledge their heritage.

Unfortunately boxing is a sport which brings out the nationalist in some people, some don't respect fights from other countries, some don't respect their American born counterparts, etc.. It's actually quite sad that some choose to divide such a glorious sport along lines of nationality.
