castillo was not in his prime when he fought hatton. castillo would ko hatton in 3 rounds if he were still at his best. when you are a true warrior all the wars eventually hurt your body. that is what happened to castillo.

Why does no one acknowledge the possibility that hatton made the two of them look shot????
The biggest problem with Castillo as his balance in the fight. He looked off balance after every punch, and fell over a few times when Ricky leaned on him. Emanuel Steward said he couldn't believe how bad Castillo looked, even in the first 10 seconds. It may have been true with Tszyu though.

Because Castillo didnt look good since fighting Corrales. That fight marked the effective end of both fighters' primes.
Like I said Zoo was not shot and was p4p rated, those saying now he was shot are just hating (and they probably picked Zoo to murder Hatton at the time, which makes it very funny).
Castillo was past his best but still more than capable of beating most guys at 140 lbs so I don't think you could call him shot. Tszyu wasn't shot by any stretch.

That's your conjecture, not quite backed up by the ngoudjo fight.
