Were Tszyu and Castillo Shot When Hatton Fought Them?

both were shot, but had chances at beating hatton IMO, so i give him a little credit for beating them, i would favor prime castillo over hatton though....

Even in his prime, Castillo never looked good above 135. I think he would have put up more of a fight in his prime, but still Hatton would beat him...

Tszyu was ranked p4p #3 at the time, is this when a fight loses he becomes shot thread? would Castillo of been shot if the fight went 12 rounds and Hatton didn't land that body shot?.

the best 140 fighter hatton ever fought was tszyu and he was a shot fighter just comin off a layoff and sugery

I dont think Hatton can handle 12 rounds of pressure and body punching from Castillo, in fact i would have still given shot Castillo a chance at beating Hatton if he took the fight more than 9 rounds....IMO Hatton gets tired in the late rounds and thats wen Castillo comes out strong...

i also think hatton gets tired in the the later rounds as he looked tired in the 11 round with tszyu and in the 12 round with collazo

You could argue that castillo was shot, but tszyu wasn't anywhere close to it. He looked great against mitchell in his last fight, there was no talk of him being shot before hatton beat him, everyone was saying he would knock ricky out.

tszyu beat an injured mitchell and after the mitchell fight took some time off and had surgery then he fought hatton
