How would Prime Roy Jones do in the 1980's?

Lets say 1993 Roy fought Hagler, Hearns,Leonard at 160

1995 Roy fought Michael Nunn at 168

1997 thru 2002 Roy fought Michael Spinks at 175

Prime Roy... I think is just too much.. especially at 160 and 168

Jones never fought anyone man! Toney was a slob at middle by the time he faced Jones, Hopkins was as green as they get. Other than those two what did Jones do exactly? He ruled a ghost division and played basketball to sell his matches.

Roy definitly will beat Hagler.

Hagler was slow and loved to brawl Roy speed and power could make some trouble for him e****ally many of Hagler big win are against people who are lesser size than him

yeah ive watched them a lot....lets see, jones is bigger than the 3 of them, faster than hagler and hearns, more of an intelligent boxer who can screw the fans if he wants to..
isee him beatinfg sugar ay easily outpointing him, hes jsut tto big for ray and ray cant flurry and step back with agy as fast and much more powerful than him, who can take his punch...

hearns would try to use his jab and keep the distance, but jones has made a career of getting inside and out of bigger guys, pot shot them and finish them when he hurts them with an overhand lead right finishing them up with the left hook and hearns chin wouldnt be able to hold roy's power...

hagler would get pot shoted outside, outworked inside and basically very similar to hopkins jones, just a little wider because hagler is more of a mid range fighter in his prime so he wouldnt be able to make his way from the outside without having to walk past roys pot shotting...and when he finally closes in, his slower feet would give roy the opportunity to dance away, clear cut ud for roy

nunn is a problem style wise, but again, roy would use the same awkard lead rightss to get a decision in a boring fight....
spinks is big powerful and roy is too small for the big lhw's...i say spinks beats him by D

Just because Hagler is old school doesnt mean a ****.

Because Hagler big win where against former WW so it looks good at paper and he was actully coming into the ring at a LHW he is a huge guy.

Roy on the other hand went up on weight and fought people who are actully could punch as hard as Hagler and he speed is phenomnal.

Hagler never faced anyone as Jones too, He is fast, powerful and similar size.

I have a reason to disagree. Any great fighter could beat up on bums and put on a show. Ruiz is and will always be a bum! What reason did RJJ have fighting Ruiz?? This didn't prove anything! He beat Hopkins and Jame Toney I give him that and??? Yeah!! And a 2nd fight with Hopkins he would have lost. Hopkins is the smarter and better fighter in my opinion. I just feel that you people hype him up to much.
