Your saying he'll beat Hagler and Hearns?? What kind of idiot are you?? I know you must be a fan but GET REAL. On some real **** Hearns wouldn't allow RJJ to get close and even if RJJ got close he'd lose the in-fight. Hearns has way more power then Jones. Explain to me how does RJJ beat Hagler or Hearns!! and Dont give me that BULL****

ok, Roy would probably pot shot Hearns some rounds before landing a left hook and its lights out....

Hagler, you just need to get to his head, pot shot him and flurry, even the boxer puncher hagler of early 80's could get beat by this procees if you were big enough to do it for 12 rounds

Ray Leonard is too small...UD or late TKO for Jones

Big good Lightheavyweights who knew how to use the jab would beat Roy though.... and Spink is one of the best at LHW

spinks was a great light heavyweight, but i think matthew saad muhammad, dwight muhammad qawi, or bob foster would be tougher, i don't if he can take those guys out, they were bad asses

Roy goes 3-0 in those fights. Too big for Ray. Too heavy-handed and fast for Tommy, and too fast/slick for MMH.

          True Story.

I seriously don't think anyone here is being honest. There is no reason for me to respond to any of this. Your telling me RJJ can deal with Hagler and hearns who are far better fighters then Tarvar. Hagler would dog him down. No way is RJJ gonna make it alive against Hagler. Thomas Hearns has the power reach height footwork to beat RJJ on points.

AND Hagler is just way to strong for RJJ and one swing for Hagler would put Glass Jaw Jones down. Like I said b4 he stands a better chance against SRL. I mean be real people stop defending the man you like.
1987 SRL outboxed Hagler and that version of Ray leonard is no where close to Prime Roy Jones.

Even though Hearns would be a tough fight early,i think Roy would land a lot of straight right hands on Tommy and eventually knock him out late in the fight.I can see Roy landing a lot of sraight right hands in that fight.

Wow!! I saw when he fought James Toney, Hopkins, Tarvar, Glen Johnson and who else ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm BUMS. Yeah pretty cool. At the count that Hopkins was in his prime in the early 30s. RJJ declined Hopkins offer for a 2nd fight. Tarvar is **** and Johnson is ****.

To say that Hagler & Hearns would just roll over Roy is a ridiculous thing to say. I see that the Ice Man John Scully is back. If you want a professional opinion about Roy ask him. He's known Roy & James Toney since their amateur days. he would give you insight on how good Roy was/is & if Roy was a technically sound boxer.

I'd love to have seen him in his prime against Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, and Spinks. They would all be great fights but with each a triology would be needed because anyone could win at any one time so a 2 out of 3 would be nice. I like your title name. I always liked Leonard he was great and a great man outside the ring.
