I'd say Mayweather because he does more than cover up and block. Some fighters block and, with their great vision, anticipate where the punches are coming and avoid them. Floyd does that and more, though. Everyone who watched him knows that chin-tucking style of his. That's a defensive trick that adds to his repertoire. That, with good movement- ducking, dancing, etc. makes him not only good at blocking, but hard to hit- elusive if you will- with small tricks that help him not get hit clean.

There's a site that compares the numbers of all the fights (that were recorded by compubox) of Floyd Mayweather, James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, Pernell Whitaker and Roy Jones Jr.
I'm looking for it now.
In terms of Opponents Connect percentage, Floyd had the best at 21% (I think it was) Whitaker was second with like 24% and then I remember Jones being the worst.Comment
