well american sports are pretty much hybrids of existing sports anyway. American football was spawned from Rugby and Baseball from rounders.

and Man City the for Eriksoon to discied what do you think the club is going to go from here? top 5 in the league
I think this season we're looking at top 8 with a view to becoming a top four team in another two years. Top eight this year, top six next and then a crack at the UEFA cup to give us more money for transfers. That's the plan, don't know if it will ever happen though.

Football is not aggressive enough for most American sports fans. Simple as that.
Firstly you have never played Sunday league. Secondly there are very few aggressive North American sports. Baseball has rules preventing you from aiming at the batter unlike Cricket in which aiming at the batsman is a central part of the game. Basketball is a much more timid sport. Hockey is quite rough but is on the decline in the US. The only sport which is aggressive is American Football which I enjoy but when compared to Rugby League and Rugby Union isn't actually that rough and tough at all.

I'm talking about at the spectator level, not grass roots playing level. Baseball is an aggressive sport, not aimed at causing harm to the other players but a sport whereby brute force is key.

Why bring Mayweather into this? lol

but seriously, a pitcher throwning a ball at lightning speed at a batter who then aims to hit the ball with as much force as possible, put it this way, it's not snooker is it?

is only time reaction that it and abit of running to call it a sport

but in football you got many way to kick a free kick, agility using you body tricking and many other thing to use you condition, skills and smartness to win

I find it funny how certain people refer to the sport as soft, and not agressive.

I guess depends where it's played. No one will deny that Seria A is prolly one of the softest leagues out of the most popular leagues.

                  The English are brutal.

When I played Ukraine on high school level you had to try plenty hard to get any card.
