The only two guys with true world-class skill (excluding Reyna - but his is another story) are Donovan and Adu. Donovan is the real deal, you'll have to trust me on this, but he's a big ***** who doesn't want to live abroad, and doesn;t want to have to earn what he thinks is his (at Leverkeusen he could have beaten Voronin and/or Berbatov, but he lacked the patience). Adu is a bit overhyped but he'll be a notch or two above the guys currently in Europe. He won't be a star but he'll be in bigger sides.

By the way.
The biggest deal of the last few years may happen this season, im sure you have heard the reports ronaldinho has agreed a 5 year deal with Ac Milan (spainish press reported this-AS, for those of you who know football)
Barca dont wanna sell, and apparently Nike dont want one of their biggest stars playing for an addidas team (Ronaldo is already at Milan),
I've been waiting days for the lastest, but it was suggested that milan would consider paying ronaldinho's 89 million buy out clause if barca did not accept their final offer.
Its an interesting saga, some say ronaldinho wants to join milan and is trying to get out.

Also.
People in the US are gonna get a shock, Beckham isnt some super playmaker who can change games in a split second, he doesnt specialise in insicive through balls, doesnt score that many goals per season.
What he is, is a decent short range passer, and outstanding long passer and free kick specialist.
Dont expect serious skills from this guy, and dont belive the hype about him turning around Real Madrid's season, as soon they signed him they stopped winning, lol
One of the biggest mistakes real ever made was putting beckhan into centre midfield because they didnt wanna give claude makalele a wage rise, which was rediculous, Claude was earning something like 30K a week, people were earning double that at real at the time.
Beckham in the centre mid at real was just awful. Capello doesnt rate him and to be honest alot of the players didnt rate him either when he 1st came.
He is a great profressional though, and never acted like a primadonna when he got dropped, i think the players respected that about him, as well as his passing ablities too.Last edited by Technical_Skill; 07-16-2007, 09:59 AM.

There’s been some absolute **** spouted on this post.
Regardless of what anyone says about Beckham, he is and has been for some years the best long ball player out there. There are players like Riquelme and Kaka that have the vision but don’t churn out the balls as regular as Becks does. Someone posted, “he doesnt specialise in insicive through balls”, that is the single most ****** comment I have ever read. Beckham doesn’t go round people, he’s not likely to go on a mazy dribble but what he does do, amongst other things, is make insicive through balls. If there’s any doubt about that have a look at the highlight of the last England game on ‘youtube’, it was against Estonia. I think some people haven't got a clue about football.
There are players I’d rather have than Becks, and he’s not half the player in the middle as he is on the right but he’s still quality and would walk into any Premiership side in the country. So what about the media attention, he’ll be in every tabloid and every glossy magazine, who cares.
It’s a fantastic buy and he’ll generate a lot of cash for LA Galaxy too. I don’t see why his move's an issue, I’d have rather seen him back in the prem as he's head and shoulders above the MLS standard but nevermind, we've got Stevie G.

Rubbish, yeah they dont go out wide and try and hit lone targets from about 40 yards constantly lol, what they do is playmake, bring others into play, finish, score goals, and change games in single sequences (not just on set plays)
You wanna see insicive, Kaka's pass for Inazghi's second goal in the CL final this year, beckham doesnt do that on the regs, but to be fair his position doesnt allow it as much.
I dont think Games against the likes of Estonia are games on which to judge beckham's talent.
I also dont think you watch much european football either.
Its Your opinion, Beckham is good, but limited, always has been, which is why he didnt do as well in la liga.Last edited by Technical_Skill; 07-16-2007, 10:40 AM.
