Why do people want PBF to come back and ruin boxing even more!?!?
PBF WONT GET ENOUGH MONEY FOR FIGHTING COTTO, HE'S RETIRED, AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL GOOD THINGS ON EARTH I HOPE IT STAYS THAT WAY!!!!!
To PBF Haters : I can relate to your hatred of PBF, but if you keep talking about him, he might be dumb enough to think he's an attraction and keep fighting.
To PBF fans: I know you miss PBF, but please let him stay retired. PLEASE.

He won't be able to tie up Miguel when he gets in close, or on the ropes. Roger's main gameplan if Floyd is having trouble on the ropes is, 'Tie your man up'...With that element of their plan thrown to the wayside, what will he do to make up for it?
2. If he were to fight Miguel, he would be going up against one of the best fighters to ever cut off the ring. Definately the best pressure fighter he's ever faced, and the best at cutting off the ring, would be Miguel Cotto. The fact that he's an expert at cutting off the ring, and un-clinchable, makes him a not-so-promising opponent. Floyd knows all this.
3. Miguel is at his peak. This is the best version of him we've ever seen...
(Lowers gloves)Take ya best shot, flame away Mayweather huggers.
Even though mayweather isnt even close to being great, hes had like 5 good opponents and hes a runner, runners are the worst kind of boxer, hes got a big mouth and not a whole lot of talent to back it up with

why else would he? cuz he doesnt wanna risk taking a loss. deep down he knows he CAN LOSE to Cotto, Mosley, Williams ,Margarito, Hatton, and anyone else. it CAN happen. he knows this so he figures to retire undefeated.

Cotto is a test for Mayweather. A test of his balls.
Mayweather can and probably would beat Cotto. I believe the same goes for Williams, Mosley, Margharito, Hatton at 140 and all other top contenders of this period.
Every fight he takes is a risk however and Floyd believes his 0 makes him great. WRONG!!!! His skills make him great but if he doesn't exercise them then he will continue to be unpopular. I think a lot of the 'haters' as they're called actually desperately want to like Floyd and see him dominate. Unfortunately the fighters that are great have all sat atop a division and taken on all comers. They may have then embarked upon flights of fancy to other weights but they have done their time 'cleaning out'.
I don't love Floyd for what he 'can' do. I want him to face and beat those challengers, not pick on weak targets that are bigger but softer. A challenger challenges. A champion lets others challenge him. Then BEATS them.
Oh, yeah, and you can wait for $20million fights. Lots of luck without DLH. Or you could take four $5million fights and please or actually gain a real fan base.
If fighters are not in your league, show us and take the paydays. Noone will criticize once you start facing the perceived big threats no matter HOW easy you beat them.
Try it. You might REALLY be remembered as a great.

Miguel Cotto is very good at cutting off the ring, although a prime Castillo probably edges Cotto in that regard. Sure Mayweather had trouble with Castillo in the first fight, but you're forgetting that Mayweather was 24 years old. Mayweather is a lot smarter and a hell of a lot more experienced than he was back then, and despite fighting with a torn left shoulder rotator cuff. He learned a lot from that first fight, and proved it by absolutely dominating Castillo in an immediate rematch.
Listen as good as Cotto is at cutting off the ring, you forget that Mayweather is even better at moving around the ring. Floyd has exceptional Ring Generalmanship, and a cunning ability to control the pace of the fight. There is no one in boxing that is good enough to pin and trap Mayweather and score consistently throughout a fight and win.
Floyd would keep Cotto at the end of his jab, and feed Cotto lead righthands (probably the best punch in boxing) all night long. Floyd would score with 1-2 combinations, while Cotto would be for the most part, hitting nothing but air or glove, or shoulder.
Though I say this would be an exciting fight for the most part, because it would be ****** to deny that Cotto wouldn't have his moments in this fight, but there simply wouldn't be enough of them as Mayweather out boxes him thoroughly en route to a 8-4,8-4,9-3 UD.
Floyd doesn't want to get in a jabbing contest with Cotto, Cotto has a heavier jab and is very quick getting to the body behind it not to mention him switching stance as he cuts the ring off, sometimes going to the body first others going upstairs.
I do agree this should be an interesting fight. If Cotto unifies, I dont see any bigger fights out there for him, we'll see.

I personally cannot be a fan of a dude that runs and looks like a drag queen. In fact, I think He is dating Corley.

Let's face it; Cotto is not at Floyd's level yet. I say two more fights, the winner of williams/Margarito or Ricky Hatton, but I doubt that's going to happen as Hatton is going to get KO'd vs Castillo
