You would fancy oscar de la hoya to beat mayweather at those two weights, where he would most likey have even less of a power advantage?

What advatanges does he has over mayweather at 140-147 that he didnt have at 154?

Have you noticed how when you disagree with someone, you always resort to child like insults?

What does this say about you as a person..?

      exactly!

I would insult you, but you are doing a good job of making yourself look ridiculous.

Thank you, it was difficult seeing as you rarely mention them on this forum and back them up with concrete boxing evidence.

some people need to be told things 8, 9 or 10 times before they remember.

Do you know anyone like that?

                Well that's just ******ed.

                Floyd 116-112.

I guess everyone missed those looping rights that landed flush.

I saw a in great shape De La Hoya lose because he wasn't thinking in the ring... They probed him asking him why he didn't throw his jab and he just said it wasn't there.... It wasn't there because he didn't throw it.

IF De La Hoya threw his jab
IF DLH was in his prime
                    IF DLH was more active
IF DLH had the power of tyson

I'm sorry for anyone who disagrees (people are way easily offended on this board) but DLH is quite overrated. He got beat by the better Mayweather because DLH is just not as good as Mayweather.

By the way, if you want to see real polls then there is a thread that was started around the time of the fight. It was 2.5:1 or 3:1 for Mayweather.

Oscar won, Floyd was given points for landing on Oscar's gloves, they didnt give Oscar the same courtesy though.

Once you take away that massive "punch accuracy/effective punching" margin that PBF had(as if percentages matter), Oscar wins the fight by a round, or at least a draw due to him being the aggressor and having slightly less but comparable numbers + more effectiveness. Im not going to deny that he **** himself in the late rounds when he was gassed and PBF changed his wet diaper and started what for him is a great feat of courage-standing still and throwing.

If Jerry Roth gave the 12th to Oscar like the other two and any sane judges would, its a draw.

Watching that fight, I got the impression in all but a few late rounds that Oscar was like a big brother to Floyd who had to take some punishment just to save the fight and himself, Floyd, and the sport of boxing from embarrassment.

Keep in mind that Oscar's height advantage is negated by floyd's reach advantage...Its no great feat for a defensive boxer like floyd to do his thing against and aged yet apparently equal opponent.
