an old washed up De La Hoya was level or slightly ahead going into the last 3 rounds. So your argument is flawed from the start.

I'm not worrying about either, just discussing. I don't mean to sound like I'm chastising you either, so apologies are sent.

If you think the Oscar De La Hoya on may 5th was washed up, you are talking ****e, no one is saying he was in his prime, but he he still has something to offer boxing.

Now lets leave it at that.

so losing 3 out of your last 5 fights means you aren`t washed up?

Are you still waiting for a Tyson comeback?

            Who did he lose to?

Are they on the P4P list?

Post the names of those three losses and the weights he fought at and that answers your own question.

I class him as washed up, you class him as past his prime. But the fact remains

a post prime De La Hoya was level or slightly ahead going into the last 3 rounds. So your argument is still flawed from the start.

That scoring was bull****. De la Hoya won no more than 4 rounds at best.

No my arguement is not flawed, it just highlights what i have said about that fight, some judges and people clearly cannot score a boxing fight,

They give rounds for throwing and not landing, which is rediculous.

One judge had it 116-112, he can score a fight,

The other two judges were ******ed, one of them was stevie wonder himself.

115-113 Either way = someone who cant score a fight, soz, that's my opinion, and that of Kellerman (117-111 same as me) and Lederman 116-112 mayweather.

Yeah, too bad 99% of press row scoring had the fight for Mayweather.

Listen, Oscar is one of the most popular and well-liked fighters of all-time. But this is ridiculous, this fight wasn't even close.

The most rounds I can come up with, being EXTREMELY biased towards Oscar is 5.

Reasonable scorecards would read 9-3,8-4 for Mayweather.

I'm not dis*****g that Mayweather won the fight. I said before at the end I had Mayweather up by a couple of rounds.

My point was made in response to you saying that a prime DLH could not beat prime Floyd.

A post-prime DLH was level or a point ahead with 3 rounds to go. This makes your point about prime DLH not being able to defeat prime Mayweather a nonsense.

It was clear that DLH had some age related conditioning and perhaps even reflex issues at 34 years of age.

Taking this all into account, the fact that DLH had equalled or bested prime Mayweather over 9 of the 12 rounds, im my opinion, a prime DLH would have won a comfortable points decision over pbf or even KOed him if Mayweather got sloppy in the later rounds.
