That doesn't sound like a true boxing champion to me.
and he's been this way since his amatuer days, so deal with it. have you ever watched him fight, i mean he destroyed gatti, manfredy, knocked corrales down 6 times, i mean, this is what you call smart fighting and blood thristyness.

again, floyd was the more polished fighter and like someone put so beautifully above, when floyd gets older, he won't have to rely on his reflexes as much as like his blocking abilities and abilities to roll off of punches, and roy was knocked out twice because he didn't have the mindset of a floyd jr, not to rely on just athletic ability, but smart fighting. i don't see floyd losing before he retires, because of how smart he is. he is more economical with his skills, but also better balanced around the board than roy was.

Jones has better natural talent, Mayweather has better boxing skills.

I recently watched Tony vs Jones again & was amazed at how fluid Jones was. His movement, the combo punching, & speed were on another planet. He's the type of fighter that will be appreciated more once he's finished with boxing. I bet Ice Man Scully could give us more insight as to just how good Jones was.

Floyd.. Though Jones isn't a slouch. His was more athleticism than talent.

Mayweather has the greater talent and more heart. Jones' appeal was that he turned ordinary good fighters into Harlem GlobeTrotter shows. Mayweather is a true blue prizefighter. If Robinson was alive today, he'd be more comfortable endorsing Mayweather than Jones as being superior.

Athleticism is part of what talent is. If we're talking natural talent.
