I want Jermain Taylor because I love taking on and beating the top Americans. They bring the best out in me. Just ask Jeff Lacy. Mikkel Kessler is in my sights because he's claiming to be the best in the division and I will happily relieve him from his two titles. Plus a burning ambition is to become a two-weight world champion and I want Bernard Hopkins at light heavyweight."

I hope it's not just talk and Calzaghe steps up...
Did you bump this thread in order to prove to us how ****** you are?

He said he wanted Taylor, Hopkins and Kessler. You said you hope it isn't just talk. What happened? His next two fights were against Kessler and Hopkins (Taylor lost, so he's surely ruled out.)

Calzaghe did exactly what he said he was going to do. He took on the two hardest possible opponents. He did what you apparently hoped he would do.

        Your reaction? More whining.

Wow, It's a rare thing to see someone sticking up for Calzaghe on this site.

But you make alot of sense.

To remind people how haters of Calzaghe have changed their mind after he has fought who they wanted him to fight.

                It is never good enough!!

Taylor showed interest in fighting Calzaghe and was offered $5m to fight him.

He later backed out and demanded $10m.

                  Nuff said.

I promise you, Taylor beats Joe C..

JT has the punch to keep Calzaghe honest and the jab to keep Joe in front of him.

I so badly wish that Dibella in effort to restore JT's elite status would take the short end of the stick and make this fight happen.

Bad Intentions fought Pavlik (a bigger guy with a bigger punch and high workrate) neck and neck in the 2nd fight and I think he would have the athletiscm to overcome Calzaghe.
