Calzaghe: "I Want Taylor Because I Love Beating the Top Americans"

Here is a quote from his ESPN interview:

"I've still got a lot of things to do in my career and over the next few years you will see the best of me to achieve them. I want Jermain Taylor because I love taking on and beating the top Americans. They bring the best out in me. Just ask Jeff Lacy. Mikkel Kessler is in my sights because he's claiming to be the best in the division and I will happily relieve him from his two titles. Plus a burning ambition is to become a two-weight world champion and I want Bernard Hopkins at light heavyweight."

I hope it's not just talk and Calzaghe steps up...

I would rather see him fight Kessler first, but Hopkins and Taylor I definitely wouldn't be dissapointed. I just don't want to see him fighting guys that don't belong in the same ring as him anymore.

that's what he needs to get recognized, fighting in the uk won't get him anywhere.

i hope to see him fight taylor and hopkins in the future.

I want him to go into the ring after the Taylor fight and challenge him right there.

Thats not his style, he's a respectable man. He is no tyson. And thank god he isn't since tyson went down the wrong path.
