Ray Leonard, a wife beating crackhead, funny how he gets so much praise on NSB lol.

I genuinely have no idea. Its most likely that he got caught up in the moment. But I'd not like to tell him what he does or doesnt think.

Mayweather was not champ at 140, and he isn't at 154, so really he is a 3 weight world cahmpion - a great achievement though that is, we shouldn't debase it by including paper belts.

Hatton has only been champ at 140.

Technical_skill, your arguments on this thread are weak. The top 30 is based on achievements, and some of the guys on your list and the others achieved next to nothing in the period in question.

Hello, my argument is fine thank you, those 30 are better fighters in my opinion, 20 of them are multi weight champs, i belive all of them beat hatton in the ring p4p.

And if youv'e ever read me, you know i dont do lists on achivements, this aint 30 fighter's achivements.

These are 30 fighters better than Ricky Hatton.

I dont need to because as I said...I genuinely have no idea. Neither do you.

He didnt say 'best fight' he said 'best performance'. If he thought that Calzaghe's destruction of Lacy was his best performance, then thats his perrogative to do so. Its not my place to question whether he believes what he says.

This is all going down a subjective road, which is your plan no doubt,

                In short.

Sugar ray leonard says different things depending on the country he is in.

He's in the USA and he says Mayweather fights like him

He's in the UK and he says Hatton Beats Mayweather.

                lol.

                He's the pele of boxing.

                  Six former world champions!

The guys fought everyone who was willing to fight him
His resume is weak compared to most of the contemporary "greats".

And Glen Johnson is still waiting for a Calzaghe fight, after the other times Calzaghe has pulled out due to hand problems.

I do like a bit of subjectivity. No doubt about that.

I'm not leading it down that way though. Thats just the way these things go because they are opinion based.

Like how the majority of people think that Hatton is a top 30 fighter of the past 10 years, but you dont. If we weren't allowing for subjectivity, then you'd have to admit to being wrong and go with the masses.

Well lists that aren't based at least partly on achievements aren't worth the paper they're written on - I may as well stick Amir Khan on there...

I've read lots of your posts, you're a good poster. But on this thread I think you've gone a bit wrong, especially if you think $in is a good poster. he's post4post top 5 worst contributor on NSB since I joined.

In fact I can only think of one that is above him while I come to think of it.
