Yes. I also think that the fighters you just named would be dead.

Your avoiding the question. No one is questioning that Lacy was a good win for Calz. Its the fact that it is Calz other wins and the rest of his resume is terribly lacking.

When you get sugar ray leonard saying Peter Manfredo will beat Joe Calzaghe what does that mean?

That he was supporting the fighter he was training. The interview I saw before the fight, his words belied quite an obvious lack of confidence.

            How is it terribly lacking??

All the best Brits - Eubank, Reid, Starie, Woodhall

All the best Americans - Sheika, Brewer, Mitchell, Lacy

**** the Europeans. Nobody respects them anyway.

Brewer remember was robbed against Ottke and Echols.. and that was a hell of a war he had with Joe!

              Please.

Calzaghe is not greater than guys like Jimmy Wilde, Bob Fitzsimmons, Lennox Lewis, etc..

As of now, Calzaghei s probably less accomplished than Naseem Hamed.

Do you think sugar ray really believed Calzaghe's performance against lacy was the best he's ever seen?

american boxing fans are waiting for hatton to back up all the fuss.thats it. i was once really interested in seeing ricky fight here. i enjoyed his intensity. his recent outings have somewhat strayed me away from that feeling. i thought as a big jr welt, he would come into the welt division and wreak havoc. after his LOSS to luis collazo... i'm statring to think that he can only **** with ****ers. calzaghe gets my brit vote all day

I dont even like Hatton but he definitely beat Callazo by my score 4 rounds. Albeit he was very close to getting stopped in the final round.

Of course, Ray always told the truth.

                      Great truths like:

"This is the last time I'll have a drink or line"
"I won't hit you again, Juanita"
"Hagler and I will never fight"
