I already said in another thread that I'd rather see him fight Cotto, Margarito, Clottey than Mosely or another one of these old hat guys but at least Mosely would be a quality opponent.

uh,,,dlh is 35 and yes mosely is also past his best but he still has a better chance of beating floyd than dlh did. he's a little quicker and a more agressive fighter than dlh

people think Mosley could beat Mayweather because

Mosley beat a better version of Oscar more convincingly

Mosley has all the weapons; power, speed, footwork, experience

Mayweather has never seen anything like Mosley and vice versa

simple really, and please feel free to disagree but you cannot argue that Oscar gave FLoyd everything he could handle until he got tired and even then he caught him with some good shots

I generally agree with your comment. Except that Mosley-DLH II was the fight at 154 and I think that particular fight was a lot closer than DLH-Mayweather. At 147 I think Mayweather would have been more dominant as well. And I don't think DLH gave him all he could handle...he gave a Zab Judah like front-running performance. JLC gave Mayweather all he could handle.

Oscar has better power than Mosley. Go watch the Vargas and Collazo fights and you can't honestly tell me that Shane is nearly as fast as he once was. He is getting very near average in the speed category. And his footwork leaves a lot to be desired. People are making Mosley out to be this huge challenge, but the truth is that he's not that great and really never was. He beat DLH and everyone gave him the same treatment as they're giving Floyd because everyone is in love with DLH. I don't see how people can say he beat DLH more convincingly when a lot of people thought DLH beat him and the most they can say about the Floyd fight is that it should've been a draw. Some of you people are so wrapped up in your Floyd-hate that you ignore common sense.

yeah Mosley's not that great and never was! I dont even have to remark on this statement. You know I didnt say Mosley would beat Floyd just what qualities he has to do it. You must really be wrapped up in some kind of weird obsession to constantly get so defensive over Floyd Mayweather Jr. You, Sin and a few others on here need to chill the **** out and show a little more boxing common sense plus grow the **** up. I mean Im not posting cause I have some agenda on supporting or degrading certain boxers just interested in discussing boxing. Sure Im no PBF fan but I think hes a very good fighter 1 of an elite few in the more recent era. If the De La Hoya fight didnt show you the guy can be beat you should maybe watch it again or take a reality check. Oh yeah and I scored the fight for Floyd by two rounds dip**** but I would have been fine with a draw cause DLH pushed the action in 80% of the rounds even some of the ones he lost.

Too bad there's no chance he'll every fight Clottey. I would love to see that fight and would bet the bank on Clottey. He has the power, speed, and defense.

I watched the DLH-Mayweather fight at a sports bar, great atmosphere and thought the fight was a draw later I scored it at home and gave Mayweather the fight by 2 rounds. Point is Mosley still looks sharper than DLH and looked damn good against Collazo, a tricky ****in south paw, and it would just depend on who executed their fight plan. For some reason I think Mayweather would try and stand toe to toe more with Mosely that would make things very interesting.
