he never said that he didn't want to fight him ******. he was coming back down to welter after being at 154 for several years. he wanted to get readjusted to the weight before he fought a fight like that. Big surprise Floyd would want to fight him and take advantage of him right away. it had nothing to do with Shane not wanting to fight him. Take Floyds **** out of your mouth nuthugger.

He hasn't shown me anything in years that would make me think he could handle Mayweather...

When Mosley flat out says he doesn't want the fight and makes nothing but excuses, it's OK. But of course when Mayweather says he wants to move up in weight to fight a real challenge in DLH it's ducking. If Mayweather gave the same bull**** excuses, you would be all over his ass. You're a joke. You've already ****** off and swallowed every fighter against Mayweather. I'm sure you were telling your boy Margarito what he had for lunch from the taste of his man juice...

            Can he? Yes.
--He has the ability to win the fight, and if they fought ten times you would have to say Shane would win at least once, right?

            Would he? No.
--In one fight, you would have to pick Floyd. Mosely would be busier and faster than Oscar, but he wouldn't hit as hard and he, believe it or not, wouldn't be as good defensively as Oscar was for the first half of the fight. As a result, Mayweather would land more counters and look better in this fight than he did against Oscar.

Shane Mosely can and will do what very few Floyd opponents do.....COUNTER PUNCH! Zab and Castillo, and at times Genaro and Sosa, had some success against Floyd. SSM has a more than decent shot at dethrowning PBF than people think, even at 147lbs. Same hand speed, footwork, and boxing ability with SSM having a slight edge in the power dept. It takes a ninja to beat a ninja, and you certainly can't Bull**** a Bull****ter! Mosely UD.

Mosley certainly doesn't have great or even very good footwork. Its above average at best. If you go back and watch the Vargas and Collazo fights and you'll see Mosley is not nearly as fast as he once was. When he looks fast its because he's throwing very soft pitter-patter punches. Go watch it and you'll see. Combine his lost speed with his ****ty defense and I don't think he has the chance most people want to believe. I'm not saying he has no chance, but there are guys who have more effective styles to beat Floyd.

Good observation Bro! I did check it out. agreed. So I change my prediction, instead of UD...Mosley, "Majority decision"! Somehow I still pick Mosley over Floyd in this one.

I don't think he can beat Mayweather because he is too old. Just like DLH, he couldn't catch up to him. But, if he did beat Mayweather, I think it would be by virtue of his excellent boxing skills, better power, greater strength, and a good chin.

you pbf fans are some weird people, are you all in a pbf cult or some **** cause it sounds like you are all brain washed or something. pbf has some of the best skill ever, but his legacy has just started, unlike his mouth. only notable fights, castillo, gatti, zab, de la hoya. as i see it and most others he lost to castillo in the first fight, castillo was robbed. gatti was a good fight, could have been better, zab was a joke, he always has been. de la hoya fight should have been a draw, both fighters ******. but after these fights, if he thinks he can retire cause there's nothing else to prove, he's wrong as hell. if he retires now he will be known only as a loud mouth ******* that got a split decision over de la hoya, and that's a fact. he says weight don't mean anything, ok tough guy get some weight up and go to the middleweights. if he can beat winky, hopkins, taylor, trinidad, then he will have a real legacy and talk as much **** as he wants, but at least he will have a resume that will back it up.
