my biggest thing is ... floyd should not be mentioned next to the all time greats just because he beat Delahoya... if floyd was not going to retire after this fight then it would not be so bad... but floyd is talkin as if ... hes so well off and that he does not need the sport of boxing and all this bull****... if floyd wants to be remembered of anything ... he better take on the 3 toughest opponents... i would say... either winky or jermain ... (yes it can be done) winky and mayweather were talkin bout fighting at one point... i know winky would make weight to fight mayweather.... and HE NEEDS TO FIGHT SHANE MOSLEY ... then it would be possible for him to be mentioned as one of the all time greats... if mayweather is seriously going to retire after this fight ...then i hope delahoya knocks his ****in head off... send that lil stuck up ***** back to his mini mansion ... then maybe delahoya will fight mosley and then mosley will give delahoya the ass whoopin of his life for the 3rd time ... delahoya and mosley wont fight eachother a third time ...so that is why it makes it better if mayweather wins and continues to fight ...

i cannot front this is a smart business decision by floyd to fight delahoya and make crazy money ... but to retire after this and think you are an all time great...??? thats a ***** move ....floyd needs a couple more big names before he talks retirement

mayweather reminds me of someone who will shoot dice ...win $50 and instead of risking the chance to make more money ...they leave and go home and their content with the $50 they won ...

    thats a ***** move ...

Oh and Just before you comment on my other post, this was spot on too, man you on fire today.

Mayweather is a *****, i mean, he fighting De La Hoya on De La Hoya's Date, With De La Hoya chosen gloves, and for ***** money compared to what he could have demanded.

He's a ***** for letting Oscar dictate all the terms.

He's a ***** for signing the contract straight away no matter what Oscar Demanded.

      Again....Yawn.

        a ***** is a *****...

and you miss the point of my argument ... IF mayweather retires after this ...then thats bull****... if he fights delahoya ... and keeps on fighting thats fine ... but in every interview when they ask mayweather about his career etc... he says **** like... "i do not have nothing else to prove to the sport of boxing" i have beat the best ... blah blah ****in blah... he acts like delahoya is the end of the road or some ****... delahoya is not the type of opponent u can beat and just retire...he could do that **** with winky ... he could even get away with it ... with mosley but delahoya ??? **** no ...

the reason i brought up jermain taylor is because ... mayweather obviously would not be favored in the fight to win... he would be the challenger, he would be the person less likely to win etc. . . and it was finally say that mayweather is willing to go all out ...
such as delahoya vs hopkins .... or mosley vs winky wright

everyone started out at a lighter weight and then moved up... mayweather took the longest to move up... Delahoya has been beaten what 4 times already ??? more than that if you count the bull**** decisions he got ... no one seems to care though... shane mosley beat delahoya twice and he did not get the credit he deserved for raping Delahoya twice. BUT Mayweather is about to go down in history as one of the best EVER if he beats a guy who has already lost 4 + times ... why does this win count for so much ??? everybody has moved up and fought tougher opponents ...
and then how is he going to retire after this ??? what the hell does beating Delahoya prove ??? NOTHING ... we already know Delahoya can lose ... If mayweather retires without fighting Mosley or Winky or hell maybe even Taylor ...then he is nothing but a ***** who took the easy way out...

If mayweather fought jermain taylor and lost a close decision , he would get more respect than he would winning against Delahoya.,.. I garuntee you ... It pisses me off that Mayweather will go down in history because he beat Delahoya... the guy who lost a **** load of times ...
UR A HATER THATS IT HATIN ON FLOYD DAMN... I CANT BELIEVE IT

I agree that PBF ending it with victory over DLH....a guy he is slightly favourite to beat isnt such an achivement as SRL v Marvelous.
Plus its not a case of PBF having to move up weights to prove he is good. You have to move up and beat the very best in that weight. Again....normally there is only one outstanding fighter in each weight class, so if you beat the second best it aint all that. Like a win over Baldy, although Baldy was good, he has lost a lot of fights and he wasnt the very best. Was he? And if Baldy was the best at 147, it was a **** division then. So PBF wouldnt get much credit for beating Baldy just like Hatton woulndt get so much credit for beating Collazo who also wasnt what you could call great.
ANd at 140 Hatton was the main man there and PBF didnt box him. FOr example PBF might be good enough to beat a not very good lightmiddleweight champ, but doenst mean to say he will beat the recognized best at 140 or 147. Bit long winded what im saying.
Its just like people thinking when RJJ beat Ruiz, RJJ could step down to lightheavy and beat anyone without breaking sweat and it dont work like that. RJJ didnt exactly beat Lennox Lewis did he? RJJ beat Ruiz a heavyweight, but still RJJ still aint considered as good as SRR. IF RJJ had of beat LL he would be. AM i right?
IM not hating PBF...i am just basically a fan of boxing and there are some exciting fights out there that i want to watch.

I have no problem with floyd calling himself a great if he beats De La Hoya a
                  great of this era..

The only problem i have is when he starts saying he should be mentioned along the likes of Sugar ray Robinson and Sugar ray leonard etc...

Fact is Floyd is that if you were in there era you would get slapped around just like your daddy did against Sugar ray
or like uncle roger did against Whitaker...

Beating a punching bag in Gatti a chinny corrales who a good gust of wind
could knock him down, losing to castillo yeh i will give you the rematch
a shot more times then 50 cent shamba mitchell who else oh the taxi driver part time in carlos baldman and a ****ty Zab Judah who previous to that got his ass whooped by baldman the taxi driver and he still won like the first 5 rounds..
**** had Judah had stamina and kept that gameplan up Mayweather would of got beat...

For now his the truth though but just the truth of this time now...

Whats the point of arguing with little boys.

**** riding? haha i dont think so buddy. As you could see i have major respect for both fighters. Seeing how i also am a fighter i have respect for anyone that gets in the ring. You are simple a mayweather hater. I dont hate either guy, they both are legends in my book. I even have many fights of sugar ray robinson as a welterweight which most people do not, but my father was good friends will bill cayton and jim jacobs. They as if you know anything about boxing have the largest collection of boxing. I can easily see a resemblence to ray robinson. Im not saying that floyd would knock the man out, i dont see floyd knocking delahoya out but i do see him outpointing alot of the all time greats. And if you lived back in the days of the robinson fights, not all of his fights were exciting either. Like i said i respect all fighters, and its little guys like you that really pinch nerves and really encourage fighters to train harder so in that aspect. Thank you.
