LMAO, you lot are having a laugh, bet not one of you even read the link. Nope, lol.
There is a difference between a death touch, and Tai chi chuan, read the link, read up on it.
If i know little about Martial Arts, dont adress me, its very simple.
Mate i was talking about CHINESE martial arts, Ju juitsu is very westernised and thats why i didnt use it as an example, you guys are determined to support MMA against any art without actually looking at what the arts were meant for in the first place.
You think a guy who goes to the Gym and learns Martial Arts can compare to people who have it ingrained in their culture?
Westerners in General are the ones who watch too many films without ever understanding the concept of Martial Arts, which is as much one of Learning as it is fighting.
Martial arts is not learing certain moves and holds with the simple intent of hurting another guy, its alot more than that, it takes a certain person to be PROFICENT in the arts,
i can go to a Karate class and learn a few moves for a few years and get a blackbelt, so what? lol, doesnt mean im proficent in the arts lol.
You are and the other guy completely ducked the part about Martial arts as a form of well being through protection for obivous reasons, and with good reason,
I could go to a gym just like you and learn a martial art in the pseudo sense, sure, im small but in shape, sure, i did Athletics as a youth, i could probably imitate a few kicks and punches and get a few belts, but i would never try,
know why?
cos i would be kidding myself, learning Martial arts when i dont know enough about its concept and how to use it would render learning it pointless, id end up studying it to hurt people or to make up for the fact i couldnt protect myself, which leads from hurting people as self defence, to hurting people as an offense, go figure.
Seriously, there are plenty of links about Tai Chi Chuan and other fighting styles, dont tell me you guys never felt that chi-force come through your palms, i dunno if they teach you that, ANYONE can do it, through simple breathing techniques, i know this personally, anyways thats not important, and that was then.
The idea that using force is some kind of comic book myth is not true, do a search on google, there is plenty about it.
Jun Keet do or whatever its called is based on Energy transfer to the guy who somehow reckoned it wasnt, lol, which is just rediculos, he needs to go on google, i wont reply to him cos that was just a plain example of someone talking without reading my post or knowing what they are on about, mate see ya later, keep training, if you like it, good for you, i hope you do well.
But the one inch punch as a classic example of a persons ability to channel energy from his body into one solitary point, dont tell me the one inch punch is a myth, there are plenty of people who can do it.
Seriously guys, its getting tedious, go back to MMA forum and discuss this, dunno why you come to a boxing forum in some crusade to convert us, you like MMA, good for you, see ya later.
lol.
