Kessler isn't better than Trinidad or ODH were. I'm sorry (to Kessler fans), but what exactly has he done in the sport? Who has he beat?

this what i keep thinking since i have not see a lot of his fights. the bad part is i hope that was not him in his prime. most fighter can deal with a lost and we have yet to see him come back. i thought that how you judge some of the greats (how you comeback from getting knockdown,or deal with defeat) plus it harder to judge someone when they are not near the end of they career

I think that Kessler's ongoing performances could tip it in Joe's favour. If he goes on to dominate the divison and takes out Bute, Mundine (again) Froch and Taylor (if he moves up) it will put Joe's win into perspective. If Lacy comes back from the dead, that may also count.

Its all academic anyway, the fight will settle who is best.

i might agree with you but lacy is done like yesterday and kessler has yet to come back. to me lacy and kessler is very comparable... it no flash other than the ko and they hope they can ko each person with they strengh. no movment no defense and they sit right in front of you all day

True, but kessler is a legit at 68, where as odlh, and tito were not and neither looked good at mw! taking nothing away from them at all, but the weight was to much, and they (to me) are not as tough of competition being that heavy!
