        I'll take Hopkins those are all real solid opponents. Maybe Glen Johnson wasn't at his peak at the time though.

          I dont know enough about Calzaghe's oponents to really give an answer. All I know is that Hopkins' resume is a good one, not great.

              The only reason I give Hopkins props is because he basically cleaned the division out. Eventhough it was relatively weak overall.

                Hopkins has a better resume but it is nothing to get too excited about nor is it a resume that Joe could not possibly overtake.

                If and this is a big if Joe took out Mikkel Kessler and Jermain Taylor I would give the nod to Joe.


                Keep in mind the two best middleweights Bernard ever fought he lost too.

                  From a British perspective, Eastman wasn't as good as Reid, Woodhall or Eubank.

                  Neither are a particularly stellar list of opponents and there's very little between those lists. That's not to say Hopkins' overall resume isn't better than Calzaghe's though.
