Truth, but they're still voting for Calzaghe. I find it hilarious, as if he can even catch Hopkins in this poll at this point.

Glen Johnson is better than anybody on Calzaghe's record, including Kessler. Johnson was an undefeated "world beater" when Hopkins killed his ass. Kessler wasn't even known outside of Denmark.

Echols is better then Kessler...the point is these biased fools hate Hopkins because he keeps it real, and his only losses in the last decade plus were because he was ****** out from making 160, and he still arguably won both fights.

I hope the Calzaghe v Hopkins fight happens I thought the win against Kessler would earn Calzaghe a bit of respect in America but obviously not ? I have to admit the only Hopkins fight I have seen was when he fought Winky Wright and I thought Wright won ( I remember something about a bad headbutt or was that a different fight ? )

The win against Kessler won Joe too much respect IMO. Everybody here loves him now.

I'm sorry Joe, but looking for a few "swansong" fights at the tail end of your career doesn't make up for the fact that you've been fighting nobodies for the better part of 15 years.

Lacy was always ****, and has only proven it since. We'll see how well Kessler does next time out.........

Hopkins has the better resume, but I think Calzaghe would still win if their fight ever happens.

A world beater that had never won a title? A world beater that lost his next two fights after that? A world beater that lost 4 in a row to guys like Omar Sheika (one of the bums on Calzaghe's record). Johnson didn't do a damn thing until 6 years after Hop fought him. At that point in his career, he was equal to about one of Kessler's baby toes.

Not at the time they fought. At the time they fought Glen Johnson was looked upon as "the next big star" in the division. He was favored to dethrone Hopkins easily, then Hopkins turned the heat up on him and he was never the same. Don't fault Bernard for derailing the ****er's career.

Wasn't it another ATG Jones who said "They say I ain't fight nobody, I just make 'em look like they ain't nobody."? That rule applies to Hopkins/Johnson perfectly.
