You should really shut the **** up and go watch the fight.

Nothing worse than listening to someone arguing and debating about things they read 2nd hand accounts of.

Go watch it, then come back and start telling people how they should feel about it.
I never professed knowledge of having seen the fight. The guy I was responding to sounded as if he'd never seen it himself. I simply told him that he can't come to the conclusion that Clottey and Gutierezz are equal just because Clottey struggled with him in one fight. That's just how boxing is. Doug Jones gave a young Muhammad Ali a serious fight, some thought he beat him, but that doesn't mean they were on the same level as fighters.

Come back when you watch the ****ing fight. Clottey was owning Margarito so bad he won every round before the injury without any dispute. Once Clottey got injured, his pace slowed and he had no power behind his left hook...

So basically Margarito can struggle with anyone and you'll just say it was one fight and it shouldn't mean anything. Margarito has struggled with guys much worse than Clottey like Santos and Perez. He just sucks. Why is that so hard to see?

We'll see how awful or how good Margarito is when he's in with Williams, Cotto, Baldomir, or Mayweather.

Everyone who is saying Margarito is garbage..... even more than reason for mayweather to have fought him already no?

Also id like to point out people saying there was no visible sign of Margarito's fractured wrist.... anyone whos seen him fight before would have spotted there was something wrong when clottey was wide open and Margarito popped him with light punches instead of his full power as he usually does.

We all saw that Mayweather was basically equal to Castillo in their first fight right? Nevermind the extenuating circimstances (the injured hand) because according to your logic, if fighter A struggles with fighter B in one fight they are on the same level.

Floyd came back right after that fight to destroy Castillo in a rematch so your logic doesn't apply. Margarito, on the other hand, has struggled with plenty of C-level fighters like Santos and Perez...

But he was never able to get a rematch with them, so you can't say he wouldn't beat them in a second fight. We're going by a one fight basis. Mayweather struggled with Castillo in that fight. Does that mean Castillo was ever a p4p top 5 fighter, at any point? Lennox Lewis arguable lost to Ray Mercer in their fight, does that make Mercer a top ten heavyweight of all time like Lewis?

B/C Mayweather is a star. You don't fight a bum and just hand him millions of dollars unless he can bring something to the table. Margarito wouldn't add to Mayweather's legacy b/c no one outside of hardcore boxing fans knows who the **** he is. And now the casual fans that do know of him, just know that he's a got who got his ass kicked until his opponent broke his hand.

How is it weak? Explain that to me.
It's weak because you're probably a part of the same group that says Floyd can't use his injuries as an execuse in the first Castillo fight.

Are you sure "We'll" see it?

Or will "We" just read about it and then attempt to aruge about it with others that actually did see it?
