Theres no featherweight that has the fluid, accuracy and timing of Marquez, nor the techniquez that Marquez brings in style or punching form. And at first he he was getting hit with the left hand then after 2-3 round he kept making jaca miss. Many have said that he changed up his stlye to look more exciting and that could be it along with the fact that he knows what to expect from a pacquioa fight so he's starting up a bit fast when he wants to in his fight. I've been following Marquez for many years, i dont' know how you can say you don't like what he is doing in the ring.

I hope he doesn't get hit and cut too often though. This could be bad for him in the long run. It could be alright with sub-PAC opponents, but this could take a heavy toll on him. Just like EM who had to make every fight a war.

You're over reacting, Marquez didnt' get hit as much as your making it sound.

Honestly I think JMM struggled with a guy he was supposed to destroy. I don't se anything that tellsme he would win in the rematch. Every one knows it'll be Barrera next.

Not overreacting. He got swollen all over with Tersdak's left hand. He got a bad cut from Jaca due to headbutts. It's his overeagerness to brawl it out with a style he's not used to. His face will tell you that.

Its boxing, you get hit. Just cause he's a boxer doesn't mean he's always going to come out of his fight unmarked. This just tells us that the fighters he's faced so far are good fighters and most improtantly have come to fight.

Marquez has showed a side of him that none of us have got to see in his past few fights. I guess De La Hoya told him he needed to be more agressive in his fights. His combinations and body work is a thing of beauty

respect to marquez for choosing to fight on even though he could have took the free win

Marquez has shown he can do this through out his career. I remember he used to knock out some of his opponets early in his career he always was a very clever techniqual boxer. Against Medina, and Pedan he pressured not as much but he put pressure. And i think it was against Norwood where he started the pressure a bit late but was winning by boxing. If you havn't seen the Robbie Pedan fight check it out, the body punchs through out the fight against Pedan made Pedan in the the later round go to his corner while chocking on his own blood, while trying to through up blood, **** was crazy.

We wouldnt have this PAC-JMM debate if they had the rematch bout.

i still dont think jmm can beat pac now that pac has improved from the first fight. jmm has not done any improvement and may have his skills diminished. pac is no longer jab staright exclusive boxer
