Marquez throws some of the most beautiful combinations (including the one which caused the KO) I have seen, they are very clean and they come with a lot of power. He gave props to both Pacman and Jaca after the fight calling both of them great fighters, and he raised Jacas hand when they were declaring him the winner. Very classy IMO. I think most of the pinoys and all those who were on his ass after the Chris John fight should give him props for fighting the way he did and for what he had to say after the fight. I know I gained a lot of respect for him after this fight.

JMM lost the respects of the Pinoys when he refused the rematch with PAC.
We wouldnt have this PAC-JMM debate if they had the rematch bout.

Pinoys only give props to EM ...LOL

i like the fight it was fun to watch...but JACA impressed me more...because think of it this was a guy who has never fought a top calibre guy as jmm...and he gave jmm a tough fight...jmm shouldnt of had trouble with this guy but he did...and jmm was getting hit with left punchs imagine if he was hit with pacmans punches? different story.

and he is gonna be moving up to 130...cause pacman cannot make 126 anymore because of his muscle being settled at 130 he put on a few pounds of muscle.

there is an art to winning toe-to-toe battles. marquez was able to do so and with an incredible offensive style.

JMM didn't have any trouble with Jaca, he wanted to brawl the kid and he was winning the fight by a country mile on my scorecard. It's just that Jaca took a good punch.

But, i could be wrong, but man im just dissapointed in his different approach.
Think about it bro, do you really think Marquez will fight Pacquiao the same way he fought Jaca? It's not like it takes more energy and activity to be the careful counter-puncher compared to the aggressive fighter going for the KO like he was tonight. These last two exciting wins is only gonna help Marquez get a fight with Pacquiao, than we'll see the boring but good Marquez from old.

Marquez has definetly lost a step in his speed, but its natural, hes older, everyone does.

Ive gotta give him credit for fighting those lefties,I think his last opponent was one,and he fought another tonight, didnt HBO say 4 out of his last 6 were southpaws?.The man deserves credit/repect,hes definetly been under appreciated. Its hard to pick him over Pac,but he would atleast do better than morales did those last 2 fights.

I just prefer the boring JMM, this new style doesnt do it for me, hes looking just like half of the other fighters at featherweight, that **** doesnt impress me. What he was doing before is what i liked before and what won me over as a fan of his.

You lost me with this post. I don't see any featherweight that fights like Marquez.
