I have a problem to two arguments the article offers.

First off (I think you already know) I taught for 30 years in a non-white' school (as described in the article) American Senior High School, Hialeah, FL.

We had in Miam-Dade County a county wide school district as is common to most large city school districts.

We are the fourth largest district in the country.

I cannot speak to the distribution of federal or State funds. But I can speak with authority as to the the racial and cultural demographics that sat before me over the 30 year period.

In regards to the believe that these lines are drawn "arbitrary" or that they are neighborhood based, or that they are deliberately racial gerrymander is incorrect.

Our district always sought to maintain a racial balance in the schools and when the district was reordered it was often for the purpose of achieving racial balances and never to segregate.

In regards to the small districts common to the suburbs these districts have hundreds of years of history as being self-contained institutions. To suggest this is a problem I can respect, but to suggest their is a fault or blame to be assigned, I take umbrage with.

The high school I atteneded in Waldwick NJ was a 'white school' (actually better described as an 'Ellis Island school) whose township and school system dated back to 1810.

To call these school districts 'arbitrary' is disingenuous.

You should look up "redlining" and then it will all make sense. In particular, note its link to education.

No, I view the band as questionable. The photo seems sick, and is within your political activity.

To answer your question, THE CRT race theory is flawed. Too many black student underachieve due to their culture. Kids grew up without fathers, and skip or drop out of school in the average back neighborhood, far more often the average white neighborhood. This is fact and has nothing to so with the quality of the school. Therefore the schools testing scores, which is a way of measuring school success, as is graduation rate, the amount who attend college, and other ways to measure which students are doing well, are poor in Black neighborhoods.

CRT is nothing but noise designed to funnel money for a cause. Public money, state money, and federal money. Got it now? I'll act like you for a moment, Prove what I said is wrong or shut up. Your a joke
