All I know about you is that you lied about having unreleased Wills footage, and you cried about your hero Jim Jeffries admitting that he could never beat Jack Johnson.

Dempsey fought a couple coming up and even apprenticed in Young Peter Jackson' s gym in Salt Lake where he swept the ringside and stood in for fights. Majority of his spars were vs black fighters/contenders. Even White Champ McCarty has one or two black fighters coming up. Sam, Joe, and Harry fought plenty of white fighters coming up and nobody said shoulderroll about it.

The statement given was that it was a valid contract and they could not figure out why Dempsey would state there was no contract when the contract was linked to such a significant amount of money and his signature clearly appears on the contract.

Directly from the court brief:

We are unable to conceive upon what theory the defendant could contend that there was no contract, as it appears to be admitted in the proceeding here and bears his signature and the amounts involved are sufficiently large to have created a rather lasting impression on the mind of anyone signing such an agreement.

In fact, the contract was worth more than Dempsey got for the Tunney fight. And that's a fact.
