I never knew, until you put him on blast, that so much of his hate for Johnson stems from his love of Jeffries. I just read 7 pages of a guy named McVey (was that you on the other site) absolutely stomping out this dude. Destroyed him so bad while they were discussing Jeffries that he began going into the Johnson Lanford gimmick that he has been going into here.

I imagine this was the straw that broke the camels' back...

It’s fairly obvious that Mendozas only reason for bashing not only Johnson but also Louis, Dempsey, Ali and Foreman etc is to prop up Jeffries. Any heavyweight that challenges Jeffries top status he will construct lavish scenarios as to why they were not that hot. However never a negative remark regarding Jeffries.

They are basically the same story. One of them I already posted to you in full version. The one that has "Sporting Affairs" on the lefthand side. All in reference to the same event that I posted to you in the other thread.

So to be clear, it's 3 different articles about the same event. I've already given you 2 of those newspapers completely elsewhere.

Is the top source the original the others are clipped from? Can you ID the source for the original story?

There were a number of articles about what happened on the train. I don't know which one was the original source. Seems to me that there could have been multiple reporters on the train.

I'm not sure what you mean by, "What is the PDF." But yea, the one with the "Sporting Affairs" was the one that had that racist article in "black dialect." It was just blatantly racist trash.
